I’ve lived 2 blocks from this place and was hesitant to ever try it because I don’t really ever see it busy or getting much business. But today decided to finally try it out. I am pleasantly surprised. I ordered the 2 piece regular chicken meal with macaroni salad for the side. The chicken was crunchy, crispy and well seasoned, tasting very good. I also ordered a side of 6 pieces of the sweet Cajon corn. Delicious! They had quite a variation of menu items to choose from. The service was great. They give you a buzzer for when your order is ready as the inside is not really big enough to hang in there to wait, if other customers should come. Then you sit in your car or hang outside until your buzzer buzzes and I waited no more than about 5 minutes and my order was ready! Will definitely return and very much recommend.

My cousin had the family over to her house on Easter Sunday and So I waltz into the kitchen I’m like cuzzo that bird smells good where you get that from? She tells me Charlie’s on Manchester! I’ve throw down on that bird before Oh My! The bird is delicious and it holds its crispiness the next day. Which is my personal litmus test! Seen this spot several times while shopping near by. Hot water corn bread I’m sold just like my grandmother’s. The greens had flavor however missing that punch of bacon or extra fat. The chicken mind blowing 6 huge pieces pure white breast meat ! Homemade BBQ sauce. Order ahead no dine in.

Yall need to come to the South! The hype on this chicken makes no sense. This review is strictly on the normal spicy. Not even spicy. People seemed very nice, maybe I ordered the wrong thing so this is based on strictly the “spicy” fried chicken and fries.
