This is one of the best places to get pizza in Homer. Along with many other menu items, I believe this is such a welcoming places. This family ran establishment is always so kind to their customers and will go lengths to make sure you have a great experience. 10/10 recommend!

I think perhaps they need time to work out the kinks. Service was great, pizza not so much. Toppings didn’t start until 2” in, and were sparse. Dough was just frozen boxed dough, thick and tasteless. Appetizers were good but not very many for the price. Next time I’ll try a burger. If it’s not a lot better than the pizza ……….then that will be my last time.

This place just reopened and we were excited about going back. We always got the pizza here & it is nothing like it used to be. They used to have a thick crust & a thin crust. Now it’s just kind of hand tossed, different sauce, not as good of cheese or sausage. Pizza was done on the bottom but, not done as well on top. Looked like a frozen pizza. Totally disappointed.

Charlie’s just keeping better from day one which was chaotic to settling into a routine. The food is delicious. The staff are friendly. My only concern was that it is very loud inside from all the chatter, TV or music to the air hockey. Too many decibels for me!!! Overall so happy to have them in the Homer community!!!

New owners make a great Pizza. We aren’t from the area but our children and grandchildren are. We have been there before when the previous ran it and the interior design is true to their form. One of the best pizza’s we’ve ever had.

Went there a week after opening, service was decent. The food not so much. The appetizers were small for the $ but they weren’t bad. The pizza is nasty. Bland thick bread and the topping didn’t come close to filling the whole pizza. Felt like I was eating a cheap frozen pizza.

place has completely changed, no longer like any of the pictures, sadly the new ownership has changed too many things, it won’t ever be the same. can definitely say the food has gotten worse and it feels like the menu was chopped in half and one half thrown away never to be seen again.

This place is amazing!! My husband and I have been looking for new dining places to try each week, so Charlie’s was it on Saturday. We were greeted by a very friendly “Mrs. Charlie,” as I called her. 🙂 I decided to have breadsticks, salad, pizza, and a Pepsi. (and was pleasantly surprised it was offered as a lunch special :)The hubs had a chef salad and water. Oh. My. Staarrss!!! Those breadsticks were AHHHMAAAZZINNGG!!! The ABSOLUTE BEST I’ve EVER had!!! So soft, fresh out-of-the-oven hot, with just an ever-so-slightly crisp to them!! My good sized salad was brought out on a Styrofoam plate, which was great for me! I don’t like those tiny bowls you usually get at other places where there’s no room to toss and stir anything. It was very fresh and the cheese tasted so real! Like it was freshly grated! Then the pizza! We are big Monical’s Pizza eaters, but Charlie’s! Oh my! It is now my new favorite! It was so tasty, the crust crispy, and the mushrooms very flavorful. My husband enjoyed his chef salad and stated he would get it again. We’re hoping to try the burgers next time, as reviews said they were great! Well, at least one of us, as I’m definitely making room for those breadsticks again! Lol. “Mrs. Charlie” was just adorable and had such a sweet personality! She apologized several times for slow service, as she said they had been very busy earlier, but I told her no worries at all! There was plenty of things to look at on the walls while we waited, and even lots of games we could have played. I know this review is long, but I’m a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due! Thank you Charlie’s for a wonderful dining experience! See you soon!! 🙂
