Excellent, excellent food and friendly staff. Our food was ready quickly and we ate outside. What a wonderful evening. We were also offered a free sample of Baklava — delish! Thanks. We will be eating here again. Recommended Mediterranean food.

I love this place! We go here quite often and my husband has brought me lunch from here a few times when I have worked on a Saturday. They are always so nice and friendly. Their food is fresh, delicious and we usually end up getting the same thing each time and add on a side and drink! My favorite right now is the Troy Gyro with the steak cooked to your preference! I usually get the pita and hummus as a side with a drink, but the Greek salad is also a great choice! My husband really likes the Phoenix Gyro with fries. This place is one of our favorites, especially for a quick bite for lunch!

I’ve been here a few times. I’m not the biggest fan of Greek or Mediterranean food, but I always really enjoy the beef Schwarma and it’s my go-to dish. I ordered it last night and I’m not sure if they changed the recipe but it was inedible. Too much spices? Not enough tzaziki sauce? I don’t know what it was but I couldn’t eat it. I won’t give one star, but based on that meal I can’t do any more than 2.

Highly, highly recommended!! Great staff, friendly service, delicious food, AND they deliver and cater, even to Creedmoor! Everything they brought out to the graduation party was a hit! Great flavors and fresh sides! The chicken, beef and lamb kabobs were amazing along with the spiced rice, cool tzatziki sauce, creamy hummus, large salad, pita bread and buttery baklava to finish off the meal. Thank you for making the day deliciously special!!

I happened to be in the area for work and thought I’d check the place out for dinner. Unfortunately I was a little let down. You would think being a “kabob” restaurant that there would be amazing kabobs. However the lamb was very chewy. A couple of pieces I had to spit out because I couldn’t chew them. The hummus was a little lack luster. It could have been an off night, but I don’t see myself coming back here.

I fell in love with this restaurant about two years ago and haven’t been able to stop going since! So it was no surprise that I asked Charlie to cater my high school reunion. Charlie and the other employees were sooooo helpful during the process of selecting food. Most caterers would’ve had me complete and online form and wouldn’t personalize my experience but this was different. I was able to try samples and customize to the amount of people and the types of diets. The day of the event the food arrived on time (before I even got there lol) and Farah was gracious enough to help set up everything! The food was phenomenal!!!

Really don’t know why this was my first visit to Charlie’s. Definitely a Wake Forest gem. Friendly service, clean, and best of all the food was really scrumptious. Fresh and tasty! Yum!

My expectations were higher than the product received. I ordered the Hercules which costs almost $10 just for the sandwich, by the time you add fries and a drink I was at $15. I understand inflation, but I could break down the cost of a pita bread (1 slice), lettuce (by the way the lettuce is not good – it wilted and made the sandwich soggy), tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce. There was more lettuce, tomato, and sauce than meat. I get using high quality ingredients is key, but a little more meat would be appreciated for the cost of the sandwich. Any gyro that I have had at other places; the gyro was piled high with meat and had tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce) and also the meat is sliced off the rotisserie spicket. I do appreciate that the meat was fresh and not frozen. They have the rotisserie spicket, but they do not shave it directly into the pita, they cut off chunks and place the meat in a container next to the grill and then reheated on the grill which dries out the meat. Someone else posted comparing the fries to Burger Kind (I agree). They staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice and clean.

The prices keep going up and the amount of meat is going doing. Ordered 2 Hecules (basic gyros) combo and spent over $30.
