Very nice and clean country restaurant. The food is fresh and served at the proper temperature. Great for a quick bite or a relaxing meal. I always get the omelette with sausage, mushrooms, jalapenos and cheese, with home fries and marbled rye toast. The staff are professional, very friendly and attentive. I love eating here. The restrooms are clean and orderly. Handicap parking, access and seating.

We called them for a to go order not knowing it was almost time for them to close. They did our order with no complaints that I knew about and our food was hot and fresh. Portion sizes were perfect and everything was cooked just rite. The lady that waited on me when I came to pick up our order was just as nice as she could be. Some restaurants in the area won’t do to go orders if they are already busy or if it’s almost time for them to close. I’m not sure when it ever became ok to tell a paying customer that they weren’t doing to go orders due to being busy but Charlie’s isn’t one of those places. It’s just good people serving good food like grandma used to cook.

After a grueling experience trying to order or get attention from the 1 waitress from a restaurant in the county that I will not mention.. Taylor and staff welcomed us in with only 30 minutes to close with smiles and the meal was absolutely delicious ❣️ I had a prime rib and friend had oysters and shrimp, said the oysters were fantastic as well the shrimp.

This Locally owned restaurant is definitely one of the local favorites. Parking can be tricky during breakfast, lunch and dinner peak hours. The food is always good and the staff is friendly. It’s hard to give an average restaurant above a three star.

We have driven by Charlie’s many, many times on our way through Bayboro. We decided the time was right to stop and give them a try. We really, really wanted to like this place. We really, really didn’t. The only thing worse than the food was the service.

I ordered a plate. I arrived and had my sister go in. Nobody greeted her, which worked out. She watched a man( the cook)scratch his chin, then started rubbing his face with no gloves on. He kept making food without washing his hands. Disgusting! First time and last time. Went to Aurora and got a nice plate from the place on 33.
