While visiting Mt Airy I had someone tell us about this restaurant. I am really glad they did because I might have driven right by and missed it. We sat out back and had a nice view of the river and greenway . The food was really good and generous portions. The chips that came with my husbands sandwich were really great! This will be a regular stop when we come to Mt Airy.

We were just passing through town and wanted to find a place for dinner. With no WI-FI on my cell, we just drove around and happened on Chase N Charli. We decided to stay. SO GLAD WE DID!! The hostess & server were both very welcoming. It was a beautiful evening so we asked to be seated on the back covered patio. Our food was delivered quickly and was delish with generous s portions and reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Based on the pictures, we thought we could sit outside and enjoy listening to/watching the river. Not so much. If standing on the patio, you can see it, at a distance, so we were disappointed about that. But the staff was nice and the food pretty good, though not much for vegetarians.

My mom and I have visited Mount Airy each year the past 5 years. This is the first year we’ve tried Chase N Charli. Mom got the grilled shrimp with a baked potato and cole slaw. I got the jerk chicken with fries and cole slaw. Both of our meals were fantastic! Mine came with a pineapple salsa that was really good. We’ll eat here again the next time we get to come.

Went in on a Saturday around 6 pm. Tried ordering a Blue Moon, they were out. Tried ordering a Fat Tire (they had a big FT sign on the wall) they don’t carry it. Ended up with Tea. Wife tried ordering something off the menu and she was told they were out so we decided on the nightly special of prime rib. We were initially told they were out but the waitress said they had 2 left. Yay! Ordered the Mac and Cheese bites appetizer, waitress never brought it out. When the prime rib arrived it was supposed to come with asparagus and a baked potato. My plate had 4 scrawny asparagus pieces and my wife’s had about 6. Pretty pitiful. The prime rib was a decent size but the outer coating and au jus was extremely salty and this was from 2 people that like salt. Before we left we overheard the waitress tell another table that they were out of baked potatoes. How does a place run out of so much before 7 on a Saturday? Was hoping this would be a great restaurant as Mt. Airy really needs some good places but unfortunately this isn’t it.

Food was amazing as always. The service… Not so much. There didn’t appear to be a manager to keep the wait staff productive or organized, which lead to almost a 2 hour wait time on our food. Might return for lunch, but as for dinner…. Make sure you’ve got time on your hands!
