My parents favorite place (and now mine). Excellent waitstaff and hosts. Best and largest portion fish tacos I’ve ever had. The red cabbage slaw was a nice touch. Parents loved the ribs. Oh and how could I forget the grilled octopus to start as a shared appetizer! Oh and get there early to sit outside! Best outdoor seating in Scarsdale. Shh don’t tell anyone

A relatively new restaurant in Scarsdale. The dining experience started off well, Very nice watercress/ pear salad and soup of day (bean soup.) But they missed on their lamb special. Grill heat was too high, and it was way overcharred.

Everything was great except our brussel sprouts and the waitress never addressed it after we mentioned it to her. This pictures crabcake sliders,sweet potato fries,pear martini and strawberry shortcake was out of this world. I would go back for sure!

I don’t have any complaints about Chat. Arrived here for Sunday brunch at about 11:45am. It wasn’t packed yet. Had seating inside an out. Enjoyed a crab cake for starters and mimosas to wash em down. Then steak n eggs for an entree. I believe it was skirt steak and it was filling, cooked to my liking and yummy. When we reached the end of our meal, the crowds came in so try to beat the 12:30pm rush.

First time here, the place was pretty busy on a weekday night. We were seated almost immediately but the service was pretty slow throughout the night. We ordered an app and an entree. Besides the burger (which was pretty good but smaller than what I expected for the price), the food was alright. Over hearing the staff, a lot of tables were missing orders/getting wrong orders even after the place started to empty out. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back, but would swing by the bar if nearby.

Stopped here for dinner the other evening with (6) friends. Unfortunately, we were having such a great time that I forgot to snap pics of out dinner plates which consisted: Chef Salad, steak, pork sliders, (2) burgers mixed with angus plates with fries & shrimp with pasta. Dinner was perfect considering we arrived around 9p. The restaurant was very accommodating for our group. Desserts were creme brûlée’s (eaten before I could snap a photo), decaf. cappuccino, Demitasse & a strawberry cheesecake of some sort. My decaf cappuccino was superb, my friends raved about their creme brûlée & strawberry shortcake. The only issue I had was the ladies bathroom was not kept up to par (sticky floor, garbage on floor, wet paper towels on counter for my standards, hence the 4 stars & not 5 stars.

I ordered the cauliflower app., it was okay. And the beet salad, okay. My friend ordered the burger with fries. The burger looked gray. I don’t eat meat but know what a good burger is supposed to look like. The server was bored and didn’t listen to our drink order. We asked for seltzers with cranberry and limes, no straws.

Monday night barley anyone in the dining room. Family of 5 got seated at 7:45 didn’t get our appetizer until 8:30. We had to ask for extra bread 4 times before the manager came over and asked if we were ok, and got the extra bread to hold us over because we’re about 40 minutes in waiting to be served. The wait was so bad a guest at a different table called the manger over to ask why my families table wasn’t served yet. We have been going to Chat for a long time and I can’t believe the terrible experience we had. The restaurant isn’t cheap and we would expect a better dining experience. Staff watched us walk out after paying unhappy.

Nice atmosphere and seems a favorite in the area. They have heated outside seating but we decided to dine inside. Very busy on a Tuesday evening. Grilled meatloaf was very good. One member of our party didn’t feel well and we have to end our dinner earlier than anticipated . The server and manager was very accommodating and tended to our needs. Highly recommended and we will come back again for sure.
