I used to visit the Cheddar’s in the University area of Charlotte quite frequently but stopped after the service fell off. This was my first time at the Gastonia location. Stopped here on the way home with a friend after a day of shopping. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive and able to answer questions or make menu recommendations. Food came out piping hot. I had the Key West Chicken & Shrimp. Cleaned my plate too . Prices are still reasonable when so many places have raised theirs. Would definitely return to this location.

I must admit the atmosphere was very nice. The food was good but bland and needs some much needed seasoning. I wouldn’t try the spinach dip again. One bite and I was done. The chicken strips and shrimp were supposed to be extra crispy but came back a little slimmy on some parts. Amazing queso. Loved the sides and steak.

There’s something for everyone here. So many good choices. They need to work on the loaded baked potato as it only came with a little bit of cheese, a tiny dollop of sour cream and some melted butter. Everything else was delicious. The service is fantastic!

Probably the best first time experience we have had in a while. I had the lemon pepper chicken and my husband the chicken pot pie. The spinach artichoke dip was amazing, the croissants to die for the pain killer was delicious. Best of all our server Kathy was wonderful. We will be back for sure.

The Food was great. We were seated in a decent amount of time. Crumbs were one the able where we were seated. Food came out quick and hot but…. The fries that I did not order came out wayyyyyy over cooked (hard and almost black)… it’s like i appreciate the gesture but this didn’t make things better. One of the appetizers we ordered came with a certain amount of tenders and we received less. It was a little mishap with the bread that they brought us but I watched another family come in and got what seem to be better service. Again Great food, not the worst service but it’s definitely room for improvement.

Patrick is the best server we’ve had in a long time—at any restaurant. He’ll take good care of you. Check my photos for the food. Everything our family has eaten here is absolutely excellent. Be prepared to wait if you come during main meal times. The parking lot will be packed, and so will the seating.
