Shared time and a meal with friends after an event. Despite the fact that everyone at the event wanted to dine here, we were sat very quickly and received outstanding service. Right at the end of our meal, our server told us that she was just served with a party of twenty and asked for patience while she got them started. Kudos for keeping us informed but that was our clue to leave just the same.

This location need better management or training. I entered the location today late afternoon. So I could miss the lunch crowd. I went to the bar and plates and glasses were everywhere. Several team members just walked right by so I know there very little teamwork for the front of house staff. Even saw some staff sneaking out the bar door. The bartender had the whole section to himself. He was overwhelmed with to go, tables, and drinks. Couldn’t manage it very well. But he did his best.

I had the 20.00 T-Bone steak dinner with a baked potato, no bacon cuz it’s 1.49 extra for a few sprinkles of bacon and it could be imitation I’m not sure. If I liked bacon on my baked potato I would have paid for it however I’m really just sour cream and butter person. It was worth every penny. The steak was absolutely delicious. That is why I don’t have a picture of the steak and the baked potato once I started eating I forgot I was literally thought I took a picture of it. If you like a good T-Bone try that special before it’s over. And the drink was the Island Tiki my first time trying it, I won’t get it again.

Cheddar’s has been my most favorite place to dine, how ever my last experience left me sick to my stomach gagging and vomiting on my way out the door. I dined in at 3815 IH 10 in the great city of Beaumont TX on January 13 th Friday the 13th I had the Bourbon glazed salmon with broccoli casserole and sweet baby carrots.The Food and service were great!! My waiter was excellent may I add again, However towards the end of my meal I experienced a roach crawling all over the table on my glass of peach tea.I had finished my meal and was taking care of the ticket when the pest showed up. I didn’t make a scene however I did leave the survey making them aware of their pest problem!! Clean it up Cheddar’s!!! Got me not wanting to eat out anymore, I’ll start preparing my meals at home a day ahead so I don’t have to eat out.

So, the start was not good at all. We were traveling from New Orleans to Houston and stopped because we were starving. This was the first time we ever went to a Cheddars. We ordered the chips and salsa. The chips were good but the salsa was absolutely terrible! It looked like colored water with just a few tomatoes in it. The salsa was thin as water. We returned it and was thinking the rest of the meal was going to be terrible. However, I enjoyed the bourbon honey glazed salmon. It was cooked perfectly. My traveling mate got a burger. The burger itself was good but it only had a few pickles on it. No lettuce, tomato, or onion. The restrooms were decent. Our waiter was very good.

Got a chance to try the Texas TBone special, while not a huge fan of TBones… it was quite flavorful and cooked how I preferred! Definitely would give this another go as I’m a steak person and do enjoy a good steak.
