This Cheddar’s has a lot to offer, just not any time soon. Not only is the location new but all of the staff appears to be new to the industry as well, they all seemed untrained. Before arrival my hopes weren’t that high due to the prior reviews and I still was disappointed. Upon arrival I was told 15-20 minutes wait however we ended up waiting closer to an hour. I was sitting in the entrance in front of the host and didn’t realize I had received the text 5 minute ago saying our table was ready. Even though the host who had taken my name was directly in front of us, I had to get up and tell her I received the text for us to be seated. Furthermore, the food took about an hour to get out and as expected they were out of 90% of the sides and 50% of their menu. The food was decent, they had optimal portions, adequate flavors. They didn’t put Shredded Cabbage in the buffalo wraps. Our very inexperienced server didn’t ask for a cook of steak and it came out medium-well. All of the sides we ordered were wrong and she stated it was because they were out of everything; ask before you start putting random sides on our plates. Our servers mannerism, ethic, and pretty much everything she did was very sub-par. She took the tip we set out while we were still there finishing up, stated our ticket was next for 30 minutes, just didn’t make the visit any better. It’s obvious they were not ready on supplies or training upon opening. I would not recommend dining at this Cheddar’s for a few more weeks or months until they can give what’s expected.

Our server Faith was excellent. Attentive, personable, and engaged in great conversation even though her section was busy. Food was cooked to perfection. Trainers were very nice as well. Awesome to have Cheddars in Utah now. We live in Colorado and frequent Cheddars. Look forward to coming again soon.

We came here for lunch, been wanting to try this place, right when we walked in we were greeted by two employees both very friendly! We were seated immediately, right next to the fish tank which was beautiful! The waitress took our order and left us with the house croissants which they didn’t last long, they were tasty! Sorry no pics of these. We ordered the Wisconsin cheese bites, I recommend these they were great! We ordered the cheese burger and cheese burger bacon, with fries, both were delicious! Fries were crispy on the outside. We had water with our lunch, they should have water available at the tables, it would be great! Just a suggestion! Enjoy your lunch!

Unique flavors and some familiar ones. We ordered the cheese curds breaded to perfection very delicious and the Monte Cristo their specialty, very good like a savory donut served with raspberry jam for dipping. Also got the salmon came with bourbon sweet dipping sauce. The salmon was delicious one of the best I’ve had and affordable at about 15.00 for 8 oz. The glaze was way to sweet totally unnecessary ruined the flavor of the actual salmon. I got red beans and rice and green beans. Both had a sweeter taste not a fan. Too much sugar. All meals come with delicious honey butter soft and delicious croissants.

This was our first visit to this Cheddar’s as it opened not too long ago. Friday, right at noon, with a less than the stated 20-minute wait but it was possible that more people were waiting about 1:00pm when we left. Nice waitress but I think I might have preferred the main dining area away from the bar. Honey Butter Croissants were visually appealing and tasty but, to me, not craveable. We ordered a 14 oz. Ribeye Steak to share with an additional charge for mushrooms which were a good addition. The steak was good. Our two sides were the Loaded Baked Potato which means butter, sour cream, and cheese only, no bacon without an additional charge, and Broccoli Cheese Casserole which I wish had been a larger portion because I liked it (and didn’t even give Husband his full half). The food was good but the side dishes seemed smaller portions than expected. The price of the ribeye was also a few dollars less than our usual steak place so perhaps everything evened out. We may return for Husband to try the Homemade Chicken Pot Pie and me to try the Key West Chicken and Shrimp….

Stopped in OPENING night, food is amazing, the service manager Tim is is incredible. He walked around multiple times checking on everyone and genuinely cared for each persons experience. They ran out of pot pies, but what can you expect opening night. Well Tim somehow drummed up two more for our large party of 18.

We’ve been back twice since opening day. They have been out of many items on each visit. Unimpressed. I won’t be returning for at least three months while they figure out how to get their act together. Not recommended.

Limited Menu, but yummy food! Server seemed it may be their first serving position, but was nice and helpful. Giving 5 stars mostly for Tim. He came to our table and introduced himself as the service manager. He shared his story about moving from Texas. I grew up going to Cheddar’s in Texas, so loved that he took the time to talk to all the guests. Good food even with a limited menu! Just be patient when you go, it’ll get smoothed out with time. Will 100% be back.

We had a great experience here on the opening day of Cheddar’s in Riverdale. My Dad, niece, and I. The timing was perfect when we arrived and waited 15 minutes. The food and service were great thanks to the staff that came to the table to welcome us, and our server Ravin was awesome!! Just be patient and nice when you go. They are super busy, and it takes time when a new restaurant arrives in town. The prices are reasonable go with your friends and family. We loved the diverse staff and were very friendly. My Dad let me try some his 16oz T-Bone steak shout out to the cook it was declious. I loved the chicken fried steak, and the coleslaw was so good.
