Love the chicken strips and waffle. The strips are tender and juicy. The waffles are perfect and don’t even need syrup. They have a variety of dipping sauces which i don’t even use cuz the chicken is so good on its own. Love this place! And Leo is the man!

I knew the original owner of this location. It is actually CHEEK’S Chicken and Waffle. This new owner definitely changed some things because the food doesn’t taste as good and they changed the name to Cheek(y)’s. I guess they want to get around the whole chain by changing one letter in the name. So.eone should inform the Cheek’s chicken and waffle company what this location is doing.

Huge hit to the quality. The best part about Cheeks IMO is the Cheek’s sauce. They didn’t have any, that and the quality of the food has overall dropped. The chicken is dry and greasy and the waffles are way smaller than they used to be. It’s a shame this place used to be amazing.

Guy was cool but the food sucked! Chicken was super dry and distasteful, had to drench it in sauce. Mac n cheese tasted like the frozen ones from ShopRite. 1/5 don’t recommend at all. Waste of money.

Quality down, prices jacked. If you came here when they first opened you’d understand. I paid $12 for what you see. The Mac & cheese used to be creamy and the pasta was different, currently microwaved and tasted like the boxed version served to children. The chicken strips had no weight to them, greasy, over fried… guess the chickens they use are on a diet.

I first discovered Cheeks Chicken and Waffles via Instagram. The last post was in January so I wasn’t sure if the establishment was still open. I went on google and learned that it is open. The pics I saw on IG was enticing. So I have it a try today and the food was tasty. I enjoy trying new restaurants and am glad that I came. I am a member of the local baptist church in the area. I will be back. The chicken and waffles are well made.

Happy there’s finally a NJ location! Everything here tastes so fresh. Tenders are big and juicy you definitely get more bang for your buck. Chicken is prepared fresh daily and never frozen! Their liege style waffle is packed with flavor on its own without any extra toppings. Staff is extremely friendly =]
