I went in & ordered take out. One table of customers @ 6:30. Should have known from that.

This place is nothing special. It’s just like all the other fast food Chinese places. When I went there with my friend to eat dinner and noticed the inside is very small. We were the only customers eating in there. The food is not that great. It’s just like Panda Express with much higher prices. Most customers they only do takeouts there. Anyway, that was my first and last time coming there.

It was not busy and the food was so good and amazing. The place was so quiet and the employees is so friendly and sweet. It better than any Chinese food i went before.

Our order was anything but good. One order of two was microwaved for too long, therefore, the meat was tough. We ordered fried rice at an added charge, but received white rice instead. Finally, the soup was also microwaved for too long, thus over cooking the vegetables. Finally, the person who answered our takeout order was not cordial, nor seemed to care whether we ordered or not. This was definitely our last time eating at Chef Ben.

I absolutely love this place. Yes, it is “small” inside, it’s located in a little strip mall. I find it to be cozy, but not crowded, and there is plenty of seating. The staff is always friendly and courteous. I could eat their sesame chicken every single day and not get tired of it, it’s my favorite!

Food is always fresh and delicious! I had the sweet and sour pork, fried wonton, and steamed dumplings! Portion sizes are great and a great value! The pic is of what I had left! I live in the Corryton/Mascot area, but drive all the way to Broadway to get my fix! Yummy!

Nice enough people work here but food is seriously subpar. May be a bit jaded as an ex-New Yorker but…..my pork eggroll was extremely greasy and had ZERO pork in it – just cabbage. Wife’s shrimp roll same thing – extremley greasy and NO shrimp, just cabbage. One of the two beef sticks in our order was like chewing on old shoe leather. The only halfway decent thing was the dumplings.

The best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had, the lunch specials are very well priced and the food is delicious. One of the waitresses is very strange, she came to ask if were ready to order 3 different times within 5 minutes, she seemed to be very rushed and very pushy, her behavior was definitely annoying

I should have taken pictures of our food but I didn’t. The soup was very thick and greasy with no flavor, the hibachi steak was made with some kind of weird thick sauce I’ve never had before, the shrimp sauce was also extremely thick. The low mein noodles was good though. Every member of staff we came into contact with was extremely rude and rushy and It was not close to closing time. The place is kind of small too only one other person was there eating besides us. But Because of the poor customer service from every person there we won’t be back. The place isn’t anything special so our first time will be our last time.
