I’m in Houston for a prayer convention and ordered food from this restaurant, asked for amala and was sent pounded yam through Uber eat, I ordered suya and non was sent to me but I was charged. My experience in all totality was bad. Will definitely not be recommending this restaurant to anyone. The dishonesty is astounding.. wasted over $90 on bad service.

I went there for the first time and had a great experience with the owner… She had a great attitude to start and she explained everything that I was inquiring about. Very patient. Got excited about eating Suya and my husband got some chicken. This was the worst experience I’ve had in any African restaurant. The food was old and very dry. My husband couldn’t even bite into his chicken. My Suya was very dry and hard. We ended up throwing everything away. Waste of money, time, and effort.

When i first started ordering from here, the food was great. However, lately the quality of the food has been unreliable. When the food is fresh (made the same day and refrigerated), it is delicious, but there are times i can tell the soups and meat are either old or have been sitting out. I guess I’ll have to specify that I’d like the food fresh from now on.
