I’ve been to the location that was in Baltimore a few times. This restaurant is located in a nice area with nice outdoor seating, so I decided to give them a try. I ordered oxtail rasta pasta. The serving size was enough to last me about 4 meals. Well worth the money. Like the last location, they should work on the time it takes to prepare meals. My food wasn’t ready by the promised time. I think I waited an additional 25-30min. I probably waited in my car longer than needed, but I never received a text stating my order was ready.

First time visiting Towson and had to try this new Caribbean restaurant near a friends house and it was a great decision! Such an amazing customer service from staff and we even meet 2 of the chefs. Their bbq wings, bbq jerk chicken and jerk chicken combo were DELICIOUS! Couldn’t get over how delicious the wings were… so tasty, def recommend. We went around lunch time and it was busy. We sat outdoors at their backyard courtyard which was super cute. It has a little cute fish pond and you can feed the fish actually – perfect to get your little ones distracted! The music was nice, they were playing trending Caribbean / Afrobeat music. Def recommend when in that area. Cheers! They also have a vegetarian menu that my friend ordered from, it was also delicious.

I ordered the penne duo blast pasta. It came with shrimp. This dish was loaded with flavor and the presentation was superb. So much so I was not expecting it coming from a Caribbean restaurant in Towson, per past experiences with other establishments. Best Jamaican food in Towson hands down. Check them out!

Though the sides and salads sounded great, the person taking our order—who I think might have been the chef/owner—helpfully told us that the bowls were a complete meal and enough for two, and that since it wasn’t busy they could split the portion for us. Sure enough, each half was more than enough, and a perfectly balanced meal. Everything was cooked just right; fluffy buttery rice, subtly seasoned; red onions blanched just enough to take the edge off; fresh avocado, peas, and tender juicy chicken in flavorful sauce with a kick but not too spicy. Homemade pineapple ginger drink to wash it down and enough to take with us afterwards.

Today Wednesday, May 3, 2023 is my first time visiting Chef BobbyD Restaurant. The food is not worth it. I was looking more so of having grilled jerk chicken some parts of the chicken wasn’t done. The mac and cheese has a nasty sour taste to it. The vegetables is whatever. I will say that I enjoyed the Island Fruit Punch. I’m very disappointed with the food.

I have been wanting to try Chef, Bobby D’s since its original location on Falls Road and it did not disappoint. The highlight was the oxtail and beans and rice. It was absolutely phenomenal. We got the family meal of ribs and four sides and it was plenty for us. We also really enjoyed the smoked Jamaican jerk, chicken wings. The wings were very needy and was incredible. My son also raved about the plantains. Everyone I talk to is incredibly friendly and courteous and thorough. They were conscientious because they noticed that they had put a different sauce on our wings and quickly fixed it without much delay. Our food came 20 minutes early which was awesome. But the real reason that I’m leaving. This review is that they are takeout containers are recyclable plastic and their bags are biodegradable. It’s wonderful to see a company. Taking the environment into account. We will definitely be back.

First time here. Food was amazing. Had the blackened chicken pasta. Wife had Hawaiian glazed Salmon. Both were amazing. We will be back. They also do catering and we will be using them for that as well. Come get some of this great food you won’t go anywhere else.
