Honestly the most authentic Taiwanese food you can find in Bay Area! The service is also top notch. Feels like home. Everything is so affordable and also high quality. We had six ppl and ordered sooooo much (some are not included in the pictures) but only cost $30 each including tax and service fee. Highly highly recommend!! Will definitely come again!

Friendly and welcoming owner. Great place for pretty authentic Taiwanese food. The squid potage noodle soup and beef noodle soup were excellent. Portions are generous.

If you want to have decent Taiwanese dishes, this is the place you must go. I was very picky about the stinky tofu when I was in Taiwan. After I move to the US, I am kinda giving up on looking for the stinky tofu. Now, I found the best stinky tofu in the bay area which brings me hope. They make the stinky tofu on their own. I tried different dishes which were super amazing as well. I have been missing a ginger duck hot pot which is the best thing during the cold winter. Now, they have that, too. I would love to drive 30 minutes there to have those comfort food. If you love Taiwanese food, you must try this.

Generally speaking, most of the foods we tried are delicious. If you love Taiwanese food, here is a good place to go. It’s sad that they didn’t have stinky tofu the day we visited. The oyster pancake and taiwanese hotdog are yummy. However, the popcorn chicken and pork chops are too salty, and a bit overcooked. And the rice cake has no flavor that I would not recommend.

The best Oyster pan cake I had in Bay Area, no fishy smells, pan cake is semi clear and taste very soft! The owner is from Taiwan and super friendly. I will definitely come back!

Worst Taiwanese restaurant, they have extremely unhygienic kitchen conditions.

Not many customers during lunch time, so I did not experience any short of staff issues. Some dishes on the menu are not available, but we got what we like. The taste is superb, and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend it.

I got the mapo tofu, fried sausage appetizer with sliced raw garlic and fish filets with spicy black bean sauce. The fish was the best! Nice new restaurant to check out.

My recent visit to Chef Cho’s left me utterly disappointed on multiple fronts. First and foremost, the hygiene standards were shockingly low. The moment I walked in, I was hit by an unpleasant odor, and the tables seemed sticky to the touch. It was evident that cleanliness was not a priority here.
