This restaurant serves the long sought after genuine New York style pizza on white paper plates!

The best New York style pizza for at least 30 miles. Crust and cheese are perfect. The price even more perfect. The large salad is enough for two or three people. Please have the garlic knots they really are great. We tried so many other places that claimed to be new York style but all failed. The counter service style was very good

Hosted a lunch here and had a great, easy experience from my initial phone call to set it up to paying the bill. Nick & Rosanna were very helpful & kind from the beginning. The food & service exceeded my expectations. They were very attentive the entire time & made sure our gathering ran smooth. The owner was nice enough to come out & talk to us as well. Felt like family.

Solid Trattoria with beer and wine as well as NYC Italian pastries and Oyster Bar on Wednesdays over the winter.

The place that reminds you of your childhood in the best of ways. Consistent good quality food, very traditional. Everything is served hot and fresh and the staff is very patient and considerate.

I ordered some end of the day boxes through the Too Good to Go app and was very happy with the food. Each $4.99 box had three good size items in it and every one was interesting and delicious.

I ordered a slice of pizza and garlic bread. Pizza was good. However, the garlic bread was stale. It was chewy and very difficult to bite in.

Loved the muscles! The veal dish was good but you can tell the veal was aging, not that fresh. Good service!

My daughter and I always get the Sicilian Pan Pizza. It is the best pan pizza I’ve even eaten. Does take a little longer to come out, but it is worth it.

Polino’s is right across from CAA Park, which had a live concert when we were last there. So we could sit outside munching on pizza and sipping on craft beer while enjoying the music. It is also a great place to walk your dog and sit outside together while dining. Even better, they have top-quality, authentic Italian pizza – great crust, sauce, cheese, fresh toppings, all delicious — that easily rivals any more expensive pizza place in the area. We also love the warm and buttery garlic balls served with marinara sauce. We will return. So, as frequent customers, we sometimes look around and ponder why it does not have more customers. The simple answer is: appearance and presentation. The outside has more the appearance of a cooking school than a restaurant, not outwardly welcoming and lacking friendly and informative signage. The staff are friendly, but the bickering and lack of attentiveness (such as bringing napkins to the table, cleaning tables) is consistent and likely off-putting to customers. It has a big indoor restaurant, but we have never seen more than 2 tables taken. I presume people treat it more as a takeout because the pizza is so good. Given its strategic location and size, it has so much more potential. We are rooting for this hometown restaurant!
