Chef Point was started as an idea nearly 2 years before the business materialized. Paula and Franson successfully acquired a bank loan on January 1, 2003, completed construction and opened their facility in April of the same year. The restaurant grew at a much faster rate than expected. Within the first four months they had to redesign the layout of the facility to add more space to the restaurant and reduce the convenience store square footage. By early 2004 they again had to redesign the facility to increase the size of the restaurant.
Much of Chef Point’s growth has come from the local media releasing the secrets of the incredible 5 Star Food in a gas station!
Based on 773 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.3 stars. Price $$

I had a really delicious, quiet lunch here. The bloody mary was seasoned and generously decked out w.bacon. the escargot app was awesome and the lobster bisque was noteworthy. I recommend the pork chop as the mushroom sauce it comes with was superb. Super friendly wait staff. Im glad my friends showed me this spot and I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.

Wow. This restaurant sets a different standard for dining out. The bar has been reset. The service was prompt and professional (we even met the owner and head chef). Our server Lance was so helpful and quick. They had a special Mother’s Day menu (just select items from the usual menu). The food and drinks were so tasty and great for the value. We got the Bloody Best, and that Nolan Ryan slider, fried chicken, shrimp, and bacon complimented the drink so well. Also tried the Breakfast Shot garnished with bacon which was a fine way to kickstart the meal. Ordered their Stuffed Poblano and Scallops and Risotto and the taste was amazing. Even better, our total wasn’t close to what we anticipated considering the impressice reputation. I’ve been to the recently closed Chef Point and it was much less in terms of atmosphere and taste of food. Really enjoyed this experience and will be back again.

I’ve heard so many great things about the food here and last week I decided to place an order for takeout. I ordered the lunch portion of the blackened salmon and honey, let me tell you how it did NOT disappoint!!! The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. It tasted like home, and I come from a long line of women and men who know how to prepare delicious meals. I’m impressed. I’m looking forward to taking my children soon. It’s worth every penny!!!

What a shame. I’ve eaten here several times. The food was always delicious. Today there was an issue everything we ordered. There’s Major was stone cold and had an overwhelming medicinal taste. Could not eat it. ($39) Scallops with Risotto were overly salted (and I like salty food), inconsistent swear on scallops and zero depth of flavor. I ate two and left two. ($34) Fried green tomato appetizer was oddly sweet. Caesar salad also had sweet notes and was bland. Again, what a shame. $135 wasted.

Great food and service! Very nice atmosphere. I will definitely go back. They do have a gluten free menu. And will accommodate you if you have dairy restrictions . The lunch menu ends at 2p. I went for dinner.

I stopped in for lunch and our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was bland and below expectations. I may stop in for dinner and try a different dish to see if this was just an off day.

Our first time here from AZ, time was 3 pm and restaurant was empty on Memorial Day. We were afraid and almost left, and so so glad we didn’t. All the food was absolutely incredible, & great service. The lobster bisque in a sourdough bread bowl is rated a 10, and the best we’ve ever had, even better than Pappadeaux. The blacked chicken sandwich with mac and cheese was a 10. The waffle fries are better than Chick-fil-A. The pesto chicken pasta, and scallopini was incredible. The drinks are awesome. Full bar with TVs. Great place and a must do. Love this place. Worth every penny.

I stopped here for brunch. I was staying in the Colleyville area. Everything was delicious. The soup was delicious with all the seafood and seasonings. It was a rich tomato broth. The eggs in the Egg benedict was poached perfectly. The French toast was creamy and not so sweet. I highly recommend this joint.
