Wow. This restaurant has some of the best sushi rolls and hibachi. We ordered the Filet Mignon Hibachi and Jag Roll. Both were superb and all ingredients seem very fresh. Will definitely be back when we come through the area again.

best!! sushi!! in!! town!! i can’t fully put in words about how much i loved the place. truly phenomenal. from the soup till the unagi, soooo good to be true. the place itself has a very intimate setting which makes it feel so cozy. with some places, if the soups are bad then the rolls are good and viseversa. However, Chef Sake is simply the best and did a fantastic job at filling up us two hungry beasts. Please get their bang bang shrimp. Its crunchy but it melts in your mouth. I am not kidding. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Sake & family serve great food. We love the hibachi. They make it to order. They are only serving dinner for now. We have been customers for over 20 year’s since they were on Airport Blvd. I get dbl veggies & hubby gets dbl shrimp.

Always great. Love how they’re willing to make minor adjustments to the order at the customer’s request. We got eel rolls and salmon hibachi. For the hibachi we asked for broccoli only and got it. And their clear soup is delicious. Hope you enjoy pics and stay safe!

I live a good distance from this restaurant. My wife and I went on a Saturday night. It wasn’t busy but got seated quickly. Got our food quick. Got service quick. Overall a good time. I’m going to point out their deficiencies, they don’t have ice here. My wife order the Black Dragon roll and it was somewhat misleading. The roll had eel on the roll but they only gave her two pieces of eel. Why say it has eel on it when two of the eight pieces has eel on it? I ordered the Sushi Deluxe, it came with eight pieces of the chef selection with 2 different rolls, so I was excited. When my plate came out, the chef gives me 2 salmon, 2 tuna, 2 crab sticks, and two half shrimp. I shouldn’t be upset of the chef selection because it’s a gamble but to give me 2 crab sticks and two half sliced shrimp? That’s just insulting. I won’t be coming back because I’m afraid of being jipped. I don’t recommend to family and friends.

My “veggie” hibachi was basically just onions… they cooked more mushrooms for me on request. Very very salty. Did not have a good flavor at all. The oily rice and noodles made my stomach hurt. Good if you want and are use to low quality Chinese buffet style food.

Cozy, beautiful, great service. It seems to be a favorite in the area, I’m a visitor. Menu looks good and what I saw in other tables look great. I had a fireball roll, it was delicious.

The place looked clean however I didn’t visit the restroom. The atmosphere was quiet with an average vibe. In my mind, paper photocopy fliers of menu add ons taped to the walls is “average”. My husband & I started off with shrimp egg rolls. They were really more like firecracker shrimp or cha gio cuon tom. They were ok but the sweet chili sauce slapped. I’m no sushi connoisseur by any means, I don’t even eat the raw fish kind anymore. I just don’t trust food suppliers & restaurants like I used to, but my phone asked for my review so here it is. He had a jag roll & I had a spider roll. The spider roll had only 6 pieces as usual which always leaves me wanting 1 or 2 more bites but such is the nature of the spider roll. The jag roll had 8 pieces. Both rolls were very good & exactly as described on the menu which is much appreciated. It’s disappointing when the menu says the roll has something like cucumber or asparagus then there’s not a sliver to be found. I don’t care for cream cheese in my sushi so my choices were kinda limited. Speaking of this, Why do most rolls in most sushi restaurants in this town contain cream cheese….. WHY? Anyway, I think the prices were a little high. I’ve had sushi at a few other places that was the same quality, in restaurants with the same vibe for a few dollars less. The restaurant is close to my house & the parking lot is easy in, easy out due to a traffic light so I’ll probably be back anyway.

We are new to west mobile and are from the Pacific NW. We have tried several sushi places since arriving and Chef Sake’s is by far the best in Mobile. It’s some of the best we have had and we have eaten a lot of sushi in many states. Fresh, favorable and just firm right nummy. Be patient as they take a minute. We ordered takeout and it was worth the wait!!
