The thing I liked the BEST here was the egg drop soup — simply delicious!!!!! The steamers weren’t bad and the sushi was good. However, the Kung Pao chicken was not so good. Here was my issue with the Kung Pao… it seemed that they were using the same chicken as they would use for General Tsao and the sauce seems to taste like it had a sweeter flavor like the General Tsao as well!!!!

Never had a bad meal here not one time. Eat here twice a month, sometimes three. Everything from General Tao’s, Orange Chicken, Hibachi, Sushi, it’s always been good! Go to and THE BEST place in Knoxville for this kind of cuisine!

Yummy. First time visit. The Chicken Lo Mein with noodles and vegetables was perfect for my two younger kids to split. The Generals Tso’s Chicken was excellent as well.

Warning: Online Price is not what you pay! Checkout online was $24 and they charged $29 at pickup. The bill shows payment for 2 shrimp sauce – we only got 1. The fried rice for $5.50 was normal rice. I callled the manager and they did not care at all. His explanation was that the raised prices. I guess there are too many customers in Hardin Valley to care about customer service.

This review makes me a little sad. Chefs has been our Chinese go-to for a while now, but no more. I won’t be back. Between sweet and sour chicken that was beyond inedible (see photo), general tso’s chicken that I had to keep spitting out because of the stringy ness, and other issues with our $90 dollar meal, we will not be going back. Quality has been going down over the past couple of months. Good luck future patrons.

Looks like a nice little restaurant but the food was terrible. I had the orange chicken. The sauce was ok but the chicken was dry and way overcooked. I should have asked for my money back. The staff didn’t ask how things were. They seemed cold and uncaring. I noticed their menu was crowded not only with traditional Asian dishes like the one I had but also sushi and rolls. Made me wonder if some items don’t turn out right because there are too many items to keep up with. Located in a small strip center off Hardin Valley rd. Will not go back.
