This restaurant is woefully bad. If you go, you will be paying a significant sum to be their guinea pigs for food and service. All of their food is oversalted and will leave you incredibly thirsty. The tastes of many of the dishes will also turn your stomach. We asked for medium well steak and received rare and we sent it back, then received burnt steak the second time, with a comment from the head chef trying to argue with us it wasn’t burnt. Their A/C is also broken so be prepared to eat your food in a sauna like environment.

It depends greatly on when you go. This is a school, so you have students cooking your food. If you go when the students are new, you may be disappointed (steak not cooked to correct temp etc). We’ve been multiple times. My husband and I have been blessed to enjoy meals at 5 star resorts. The food at Platt the first time we visited was arguably the most delightful food we’ve ever had. We liked the quite classy atmosphere, complimentary infused water, bread, and delightful butter. The service was perfect. Everything was perfect! We were very disappointed the second time. The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t what we’d come to expect. All in all, great prices for amazing food… sometimes. There were very gracious when we complained though and fixed the problem.
