Homestyle AUTHENTIC Mexican food! This small and inexpensive but great tasting food! Yes, the trifecta of bomb Mexican food. They’ve been here 20+++ years and still great food. Went there yesterday and they don’t have taquitos on menu but made them anyway for me…soooo good! Came back two days in a row. Mainly “to go” only. Parking and neighborhood might be seen as rough. Had the 3 hard shell tacos with rice and beans for $6.. Hard shells not homemade but still…$6…..with guac on tacos.

We were staying in the LBC and stumbled across this place looking for some more traditional food vs the chains that are in the downtown area. We purchased some burritos + tacos + chips n salsa and oh my! It was incredible + the nicest people ever! Would def go back if I was in the area.

Omg…as we were leaving the family in the LBC (I always wanted to say that- lol) we wanted some authentic Mexican food like what we have here in Arizona. We passed by multiple places on 4th Street and 7th Street before finally finding this little gem on the corner of 10th. We figured it’s getting later in the day by the time we get back to Arizona it’s bound to be 10 pm…we better stop and feed the kids. We pulled up and there were a few parking spaces that were not on the street with no struggle at all. It’s not a sit down restaurant but I did note some seating to the immediate side of the small building but unfortunately it was filled with homeless people.

A little whole in the wall with traditional Mexican food and outdoor seating only. The carne asada has good flavor and the amount of meat they put on the tacos and in the burritos is good. The burritos are a little bit leaky with juices that poor out which kind of sucks. Same with the tacos but you can eat those quick. The place is worth a stop if you’re in the area but don’t go out of your way.

This small hole in the wall never disappoints. The price is right. I always have to include in my order a burrito with potatoes beans and cheese. So yummy if you want to stay meat free. Tamales are good too. Haven’t tried the menudo, but people line up with their pots to take some home. So I gotta try that next. Can’t believe I haven’t tried in the 12 years I’ve been going there.
