To keep the story short, I am not going back there again and I would not recommend it to anyone it’s expensive for nothing. I felt like I got ripped off. I ordered a Tilapia and two orders of goat stew which came out to $93, and waited for almost an hour. I thought to myself this must be really good for this price, but when it was time to eat the food, I was very disappointed. The fish was raw in the middle, the goat stew tasted like it was made a week ago. The goat stew had more fatty skins than the actual meat. I would stay away. You would think after waiting for almost an hour and paying $93 you will get nice freshly cooked food. Not this place, the goat tested stale. STAY AWAY!!

I decided to stop by and try Nigerian food today. The woman running the store was very friendly, she made sure I would be ok with spicy food, which is always a yes from me. This dish has a comfortably warm spice and not what *I* would consider very spicy. It’s so good! On the menu it was listed as oha soup, it’s made from the ora leaf and various proteins. She asked if I was ok eating snails, which I am, so she was excited to see me try it. I took a bite while I was still there, and it’s so good. No replacement meal necessary.

Went in and ordered fufu for the first time, the woman running the store was incredible in every way! She asked if I had ever tried her food or fufu in general and when I told her I hadn’t she had me try everything I was getting! She was amazing all the way around.

The jollof was delicious, hot and fresh. The is great & not only that the owner returned my money with no hassle after losing $270 at the store. I am so grateful and will always appreciate that. Thank you for being an honest owner and thank you for your great service.

Beverley was a great help with picking out our lunch. Very informative about the culture as well. We got fufu & rice to eat with goat stew, Egusi soup, and vegetable soup. They all taste really good. Reminded me of Indian food a lot as far as spice levels. My favorite was the goat stew with rice, LOVED IT!

My first time trying African food and it was delicious! I love spicy and she asked me the level I usually like, also asked me to try it before taking it to go so she can adjust it to my liking. I got the goat stew and it was tender. She was very personable and definitely an amazing cook!

It was mine and moms first time trying African food. The lady that runs this place was so friendly, she made suggestions and helped us pick out our food, she even brought it out to us and had us try it before she bagged it up so we had an idea of how spicey it was. I got some goat soup and fufu and if you like spice this will be right up your alley, my mouth is still on fire. Definitely a welcoming stop if you’re unfamiliar with the food and wanting to try something new. Felt like getting a home made plate of food at a relatives house rather than a restaurant.

I ordered Chemtag for the first time today, but this is my second time trying African cuisine. The food was hot and ready. I ordered Beef and Spinach soup with Fufu. The beef wasn’t tender, but I did enjoy everything else. I also tried Egusi with Fufu, and respectfully, I’m just not a fan of that dish (nothing against the restaurant). I will give them another chance, and next go ‘round try something else..

Very nice lady and service …. But when I walked around store I notice my food was not guna be fresh , because I saw plastic containers in a fridge as I was walking out , went home to try my chicken stew and beef stew ,with fufu , mind you it’s my first time trying this ! And really bought it more for my niece that loves food from your culture and we all were disappointed ☹️ ,,, I understand flavors are different and just wasent what i expected which is normal for a first timer , but the meat was SUPER tough , I say made 1 week ago or more , meat was more like beef jerky that’s how hard it was , I know my meat and I cook homemade but this was far from tender, sorry but I won’t be buying food from here anymore. It was an experience
