I loved this place till the day of today! Felt so disgusted to find a baby sewer cockroach on one of the five plates I bought. I have been a loyal cotumer to this place for more than 7 years but now I post on here to encourage everyone that eats there to check your food. I wasted my time and my gas (keeping in mind I live 20 minutes away) and the Manager had the audacity to say it was not from there. Why would I want to waste my time and gas to go show them a cockroach on my food, which all I wanted is to go home and enjoy my dinner! I don’t think I will be able to see this restaurant the same anymore

I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice (+$2.50) with spring rolls. When I started eating the food, I noticed that the Kung Pao Chicken is very watery with much more vegetables than Chicken. Not only so, the KP Chicken and fried rice I paid extra for was very bland. The spring rolls were soggy too. Nasty & pricy garbage food.

Great flavored, hot and delivered quick! Price was reasonable fed a family of 4 for $30 before delivery and tip charge. Would order again!

I called 15 min before arriving to pick up my food. The lady said it would be ready in 10 nin. I had ordered sweet and sour pork, and Mongolian beef with broccoli. I arrived 15 min later, food was not ready. The woman started my order giving me dry, cold, battered pieces of hard pork, the other employee, a male prepared the beef and broccoli. There was no broccoli, but tons of onions, the meal should have been called Mangolian onion. This place is gross, and disgusting.

Send the health inspectors to this place!!!! Everything was terrible and could make you sick! Just go to the original Chen & Wok on 7th St and Maryland Ave. That place is a 10/10. This Chen & Wok Express gives them a bad name. The fried rice is disgusting, it’s soggy and dark brown. The egg drop soup is too salty with too much ingredients in it. The eggroll taste like it was frozen or extremely old. Something about it did not taste right! The house special chicken is nothing like the house special chicken at the other location. It was under cooked in the middle, chewy, the sauce is sour and I don’t even know if this was chicken…. Then they don’t have regular sweet and sour sauce. It’s some orange sauce that comes in a little tiny packet. This place cost just as much as the original location too. Extremely disappointed. We will not be eating this food and are never ordering from there again.

Friend and I ordered Lunch…. We are eating and she finds a large sewer sized fried cockroach in her general Tso chicken. I threw away my orange chicken, and we call them to let them know. “We don’t cook with roaches!” *CLICK*.

I have been coming to this place for over 20 years now. It’s always for lunch and sometimes dinner. You’ll see different faces serving but the food experience is still the same.

The 3 plate entree was delicious. Grabbed dinner with my honey bear. We asked for take-out and decided to sit inside the restaurant for awhile. The staff was nice and very attentive!
