I’d eaten here before a few times before the pandemic, and it was always pretty good. I decided to treat myself on Mother’s Day (evening), and it was NOTHING like it used to be. The buffet looked like it had been there all day! They make you pay now BEFORE you eat, so I definitely would’ve walked out once seeing the options. There appeared to be only 2 working: the one that I had to wait to come from the back to take my money(with no friendly greeting), and the other who I took to be the cook, but did not look like he would know anything about preparing Chinese cuisine. After I’d found a couple items that looked edible, he slowly started to bring out fresher dishes. Mind you, there was already one couple there already eating. There were also several tables still left with dirty dishes, and a sign that said, “self serve”, so basically the 1st guy was only taking payments. Maybe this was a single incident, but I was extremely disappointed. Not sure I’ll ever try it again.

Do not eat here! You’d be better to cook at home or just go elsewhere. It was surely a waste of my $13. The noodles & rice were both overcooked, also the meats just weren’t right at all!! This place used to be good, here a few years ago(last time I went) but things have changed now and not for the better. On the upside it was clean and staff wasn’t rude but …… yeah

This self-service Chinese buffet did not leave me with a good experience. The food is overly priced with limited options. The drink/ice dispenser was broken. If you want Chinese, I suggest you go somewhere else.

This place used to be good but it’s gone downhill. I still eat here from time to time just because there aren’t a lot of places to choose from but it’s not great. A lot of stuff is luke warm when it should be hot etc.

This place doesn’t deserve one single star. I don’t think you’ll see me eating at this place no more. After being there one day and saw ratatouille setting on his ledge over the food observing, watching,& inspecting. Waiting his turn to go get his food. I lost my appetite that very second. Got up and left. Plus seeing pictures of him in other reviews. This was used to be a good place to eat Chinese back in the day. No telling how many owners it has had. But they have slowly gone downhill over the years. So has customer service. Putting luke warm if not cold, tough, and old tasting food out is getting to be, if it hasn’t been the norm for this place for quite awhile. They either keep the air conditioner turned up or turned off. Not worried about their loyal customers. And to top it off they’ve gotten too expensive. Im going to find new places to go eat Chinese. I dont know how this place has managed to stay open as long as they have. But eating then looking up and seeing a rat watching the activity. That ended it for me eating at chen chens. 4-24-23 @12:15, I take my chances. Try to give this place a 2nd chance. But when I pull in, not a single car in front. The open sign in the window is off. Not 1 single light bulb is on. And when i walk up to the doors, they are locked. F***k this place.

We’ve liked to go to Chen Chen’s since we’ve lived here. The food’s not great, but it’s the best we have here. The food’s probably about a C grade. But after we were done eating today, we noticed that there was a FAT mouse scampering around above the buffet. Looks like Mickey Mouse here also enjoys the wontons. If you give a mouse a fortune cookie you might just lose your appetite.

Inedible, cold and taste like old grease. Chicken dishes were tough. The air conditioner either does not work or was off. There is no wait staff. This is the second time this has happened but decided to give another try. I used to love ChenChen but will not go again.
