I have been going to Chen Fu’s for the past 12+ years. I used to live nearby and get it often. Now I live 45 minutes away but hands down this is my favorite Chinese food. It’s worth the drive. Their sauce and flavor sets them apart from any other Chinese food restaurant. The owners will remember you and are super kind. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place was surprisingly good. I only downgraded the atmosphere because there wasn’t any really, but that is OK because it is a fast food place. The food was excellent and way better than I thought it would be. I was looking for a quick place to grab some Chinese food and I really didn’t have any expectations…I was hungry and really wanted Chinese. The food was served quickly despite how busy they were and it was delicious. I will definitely eat there again and again.

The meats was hot the rice was cold and a small scoop of rice for the price. The meals were not good at all and I guess we waited for the meats to be cooked about ten minutes. The was cooked very hard. Would recommend this place to anyone because I will not be going back. I don’t know what was in the Egg Roll but it was not good even.

The best Chineses food in Matthews and the Charlotte area! Mostly take out, but dining in I an option that we usually exercise. We have enjoyed their food for 26 years now and have never been disappointed as their personalized service is fantastic. They know their customers well and memorize their “usual” orders. I highly recommend the Sesame Chicken, any LoMein, or fried rice. My personal favorites are either Chicken and mixed vegetables in garlic sauce or with shrimp. The chicken wings are delicious too, and my husband loves the egg rolls.

To avoid the dinner rush, called @ 5 on a Sun. “30 min.” At 6, they couldn’t tell me when it’d be ready so I asked for a refund, esp since one of our 3 orders had been sitting out 15 min. “No,” I have to understand they only have 1 cook tonight. Looked like 2 to me, but sure I could understand that – if they told me when I called an hour ago. I didn’t ask for any special favors, they didn’t offer, made nothing right. Not even any fortune cookies, like what take out does that? Food was OK, crab Rangoon was excellent. Oh, and if you don’t pay by cash, add 4% to your order. Didn’t tell us that either. $50 when Hibachi is a walk away? Never again
