Great food, attentive staff. This is our go to restaurant when we want to enjoy a nice meal in a quite atmosphere. Pretty large menu with something for everyone. Wish miso soup was a bit warmer/hotter.

Had one of the luncheon combos. It was good. The shrimp and chicken were seasoned just right, the ragoons and chicken fingers were tasty as well. Fried rice was perfect. My dish was $16 so that’s the reason for the 4 stars. That’s a bit expensive for lunch. Would definitely come back tho.

Chen Yang Li restaurant is the best gluten free Chinese restaurant in New Hampshire; it’s a great option for anyone who has food allergies. The gluten free (“gf”) appetizer list is good, there are gf soup options including hot and sour seafood. There are many gf entrees – including general tso’s and Peking duck.

Today, I’m lowering my stars from 5 to 3. Service, which is usually spot on was sub-par at best today. The shrimp fried rice was served cold. It took me a good 10 min to finally catch the waitresses attention to even let her know there was a problem. The rest of the food got cold, waiting for her. She took away the rice to the kitchen and was back in less than 5 min. I immediately assumed she had just microwaved it, and when I asked, she said yes, we microwaved it. When she left I went to take a bite and it had a fishy snell and It turned my stomach.. At this point, I knew I wouldn’t eat it and pushed on eating the other food. When I asked for the the bill, I asked her to take the rice off the bill. The egg rolls and chicken fingers were fine but had gotten cold because of the extra wait for the rice. This has always been a favorite place to treat myself to great chineese food, and I was very disappointed today. Feel like I lost a good friend. Upset more about the short cuts they took and the lack of care for the quality of the food. The manager never came over and saId sorry. Doubtful, I will be back for another try.. Such a shame.

The person at the front desk is exceedingly rude – rude while recording the take-out order, and rude when it is picked it up. People in this critical service role are typically welcoming and warm. This guy is consistently hostile, abrupt and condescending. I’m done spending my money there!
