I was looking up places near me because I was at school at Naugatuck Valley community college and let me tell you some thing. I’m so glad I found them. The soup was absolutely amazing. The chicken wings were crispy and fresh. The rice could use a little flavor but it was still good. The place is very clean. The service is friendly. I have absolutely no complaints. I highly recommend especially for lunches because it only cost me seven dollars for lunch combo w a soup !!!!!

My family has ordered takeout from here before. It was fresh, plentiful, and tasty. We Decided to go into the restaurant for a sit down dinner. The waitresses was extremely attentive and was on her A game. We ordered the fried chicken wings $6.25,sesame chicken (white meat) $10.75 combo, general Tao’s chicken combo(dark meat) $9.75, pink lemonade $3.75 and wonton soup to go. I can only say this about my meal…. THIS WAS THE WORST GENERAL TSO’S CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! The chicken was hard, tough, old and I just couldn’t eat it!!! I tried, but, it stuck in my teeth. It was stringy and hard. I informed the waitress directly and she offered to take it back to the kitchen and have them make something else . I politely declined ( I don’t send food back to the kitchen) and had rice and three wingetts for dinner. I also informed the waitress (as she discarded the general TSO’S chicken left on my plate) that no cook should ever serve that kind of food to anyone. She apologized again and offered to give me something else. I once again declined paid the full bill ( owner did not talk to us or even comp part of the meal)and left telling the waitress about the great job she did and it was not her fault. I will not return , EVER p.ssss the egg rolls were tasteless and over greasy.

I must begin with Rosie, our waitress. She was amazing. So sweet and very good at her job. She made us feel extremely welcome. Now as for the restaurant. It was all so good!!!! Every dish was very fresh and tasty and the prices were the cheapest around!!!

Usually ok. Not happy today. Chicken and rice tasted old. I asked for the chicken to be well done extra crispy. The chicken wings were not fully cooked! I’m very upset about this. I haven’t been here in awhile…but this is ridiculous and makes me not want to return. I don’t know what’s changed. Cooks? Fix the issue and follow instructions. Waste of money!

Ordered general tsos and tangerine chicken both were so bland it was hard to tell the two apart. egg rolls were tough and greasy. In future we would go across to stop and shop and get better chicken at the hot bar for half the price.

This high rating is why we tried Cheng. Must be from old reviews. Went for an in house dinner. Everything we ordered was overcooked. In particular, the General Tso’s. Not even edible. We told (the wonderful by the way) wait staff and they told us how they are breaking in another cook…..again apparently. Usually if you dont eat your food it comes off the bill. Not here, they owner instructed them to give a 10% discount on that dish only, $1.28. The rest of the meal was again overcooked and mostly bland. Local for us and NEVER to return.

We get lunch from here weekly , we work nearby . The food is very good but the service , Tom is unbelievably the best. He is tops for customer service, efficiency and he never gets an order incorrect … never . This guy deserves to be well compensated for his work, we love him . Thank you Tom , we highly recommend this place . We love the garlic chicken luncheon , it’s delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable for all you get .

Great local spot. Free warm tea when you are waiting is a nice treat, after a long week of craziness. Their sushi is always top notch, though I only took pictures of their avacado salad.
