Our go to take out Chinese restaurant in Pensacola. Large menu selection. Kind of a old school feel. Order your food , grab a couple packets of sauce, get your food and go.

I ordered sweet n sour chicken with chicken fried rice, the chicken in my fried rice was undercooked, I had a few bites before I noticed the weird color of the chicken and that it was undercooked.

Not bad for Pensacola. Lo Mein here used to be bad and given out in the rectangular plastic containers but now they give it in the white large box containers which is MUCH better. Love getting a large pork lo mein from here. General Tso chicken is pretty good. Singapore rice noodles are ok. A little too much spice flavor and not enough savory.

Tried Chen’s Kitchen because our usual place was closed. A very pleasant surprise – they did not have vegetable soup on list however they made it for me and they kicked it up to spicy for me as well also got shrimp rolls that had the best flavor I’ve every had; very fresh! And not to forget the cream cheese angles… the best taste (chive I believe) ❤️.

Got large take out order: Chicken fried rice was dry and had only 2 small skimpy pieces of chicken! Sweet and sour chicken wasn’t fresh. Crispy wontons provided with egg drop soup were stale. Crab Rangoon left off of order. Egg rolls are very tiny! Overall, worst experience ever for Chinese.

We have been going to Chens for years I’m talking watching the boys in elementary school through college. Cheering their Mama on when she got her citizenship. Has nothing to do with the cooking which is great. We like ours spicy and they never disappoint us. Always fresh cooked just right and I always have leftovers for lunch.

Chen’s has been our go-to takeout Chinese restaurant for literally almost a decade. Consistent, delicious, and to-the-point service. We rarely waver to any similar restaurant even if it’s out of the way. Keep it up, Mae and crew!

I just want to say THANK YOU to Chen’s here. I tried another local Chinese restaurant, Number One, up the street from Chen’s, and Number One REFUSED to make chicken and cashews without the vegetables. What??!! Anyway, Chen’s always seems happy to modify a dish at the customer’s request, and the food is excellent. I’m very pleased with the service that Chen’s offers, and I’m looking forward to having my lunch there later today … chicken and cashews … and NO vegetables! Thank you, Chen’s!!! I would mention one thing tho in passing, I think the fried rice should have egg in it, but that’s not a major problem. I still love the food and service overall.
