Unfortunately, we were so hungry, we forgot to take pictures. We shared their make your own dish, with 4 choices. Went with Sweet and Sour Chicken, Egg Roll, BBQ Pork, and Pork Fried Rice. Also added Egg Flower Soup, Pot Stickers, and a slice of Blue Berry Swirl ice cream cake for dessert. We loved everything except the egg rolls. They were too thick with how they wrapped it. Great size of portions, definitely enough to share. The staff was really friendly. The place was decorated so nicely. Also very clean.

This is a very hard review for me. I am a huge supporter of small mom n pop restaurants, especially in small towns. But unfortunately, I have to agree with a lot of these bad reviews. My boyfriend and I have come to Long Beach a hand full if times so far and just love it here. We are always trying to eat at different restaurants to find the ones we like the best. Being the only actual Chinese restaurant in the area, I kind of had higher hopes. I tried to call in an order to go but was told “k, hold on” the phone was just put down on the counter I’m assuming and I waited for 10 minutes listening to them talk in the background. Tried calling a few more times, and it just went to voice-mail that was full. Went to the restaurant, still placing a to go order, was told the fried wonton in the pick 2/3/4 items list has no filling (just fyi). Only waited about 15 minutes for 3 mains and 2 rice dishes. Sweet n sour chicken, almond fried chicken, and general tso chicken were all the same fried pieces of chicken that were mostly the batter (literally close to 80+% batter) and the chicken was dry. Sauce smothered each dish, which made the breading very soggy and no longer had any kind of crunch from being fried. Wanted crispy fried Sesame chicken, but per the reviews said it didn’t have a sauce, which didn’t make sense, so we opted for almond fried chicken. The gravy was light colored instead of dark like we are used to, but it didn’t taste too terrible. The sweet n sour sauce was pretty basic and actually quite bland. The same goes for the general tso sauce, slight flavor, but no spice what so ever. The house special fried rice has nice big prawns, bbq pork, and chicken that seemed almost like it was canned or maybe had been sitting in some kind of liquid. But not a marinade because it had no flavor on its own. I preferred the flavor of the house fried rice(minus the chicken) with soy sauce compared to the pork fried rice with soy sauce, but my boyfriend preferred the pork one. I happen to be allergic to coconut, so I was u able to enjoy my fortune cookie at the end of my meal. The lady who answered the phone was the same lady who seemed to be working the front counter as well as wait on the main seating area so I had to wait some time to even place the order, but otherwise seemed nice just spread to thin I think. The lady who brought out our food, I assume, was the owner or maybe the owners wife. She was very nice and accommodating. But overall, it was quite unsatisfying and bad enough that we both decided not to finish the food. We do not recommend it, and we will not be coming back. We are going actually to try to find some birds to feed it to.

I ordered a sea food plate and I was really disappointed. This had a lot of onions with a couple shrimp and scallops. Also it was supposed to come with fish and I didn’t see any. The meal came with mushrooms and didn’t say that in the menu. I think they should describe everything that come in the meal.

In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king… This place is totally sufficient but in the lack of options it’s GREAT! The crispy sesame chicken is their best item and very delicious! Orange and lemon chicken are quite citrus-y but still really yummy and the fried rice is 10/10.

We came in for dinner and half the tables were full. We ordered. The server brought our soup with our dinner. The soup was hot but our almond chicken was barely warm. The staff was friendly. This was our first visit. Seemed like a nice place that we will try again.

The facade is unassuming, but the food and service were exceptional! We ordered food to go for four people (via phone), and it was ready in 20 minutes. Highly recommend! Not sure why there are so many poor reviews.

So. The food was good. Honestly, all of it was really good. The service was abysmal and unapologetic. The server was spread way too thin. It was not very busy aside from one other large party. The server forgot my child’s order. We had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for his chicken nugget meal which seemed…excessive. They kept forgetting drink orders as well. What we had planned to take an hour, took 2. Overall, I’d give it another chance based off the food we ordered, which was good, but I’d be hesitant to go back again if the service was the same.

We ordered take-away and I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the food was ready and how much food was included. I ordered the garlic chicken and it was full of chicken, vegetables and a delectable sauce. I would recommend it.

The chicken was fresh and just the right amount of crispy on the outside while juicy on the inside. We had orange, sweet-and-sour, and general Tso’s. They were generous on the portions and the sauces. So delicious!
