I recently dined at Chess Park Lounge with my family on a Sunday evening, and it was an experience to remember. When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly empty, but the upscale, old-school ambience was apparent from the moment we walked in. There is an inside section with an island bar, as well as an outside section with an awning where live music is played. The live music was a classy touch and really enhanced our dining experience.

I started my vacation today and decided to try this restaurant. Well what a way to start a vacation!! The hostess was friendly. My server Erika also friendly and attentive. I mentioned it was my first time and Erika suggested a few dishes. For my drink was very tasty and smooth. For appetizer i ordered “Hamachi crudo” melts in your mouth. Truffle croquettes are delicious also the cream that comes with balances the dish. For main course I ordered steak frites at CPL. Also on point and let’s not forget dessert apple fritter. All staff was very attentive all the way to the chef’s thank you chef Julio and chef Chuy for your attention. I really had a great time… And great live music. See you soon

The atmosphere was great. We came before the dinner rush and as we waited for our food the dinner rush hit. Service slowed when the rush hit however they tried their best. Food was great. The Mary’s organic chicken was very tasty and totally worth it, while the steak frites were good however, not worth the 35 dollar price tag.

My coworker collapsed due to the heat and the staff were insanely quick to help and offer items to cool off. Thankfully our group had a few nurses and everyone made it out okay. Food, drinks, and atmosphere have always been amazing, but the staff showed their true colors. Impressive service!

Wow did I love this place. The live music was superb but not overwhelming. The bartender was wonderful. Food and cocktails top notch. I started with the cocktail called smoke break and it was unique, aromatic, and well balanced. Highly recommended. For food I had the tuna tower and the sea bass. The tuna tower was constructed with layers of crisps, tuna, and avocado with each layer able to be lifted off separately by the airgap created by the micro herbs. Great execution and delicious. The sea bass was the star of the show though. Cooked to perfection, beautiful, and tasty. Your Saturday night will be a pleasure and leave you in a cheerful lively buzz from this lounge.
