They are a little expensive but I have been going here since I was very young. Steak and cheese and pizza is awesome. The wait is longer than I would like it to be but I take that into account when ordering since I know. Overall, the food is good and I like this place.

My favorite is the chicken parm. They have terrific fries too though they are occasionally heavy on the salt. Fried zucchini is a nice snack once in a while. I’ve heard great things about both the steak and cheese and the meatball subs but I’ve not tried them myself. Staff is always nice and helpful. The place is clean but won’t win any design awards. Definitely a local favorite.

Whenever I’m in Calvert County, I’ve GOT to have Chessie’s! It is by far the BEST subs and pizza in the whole county. I’ve driven almost 2 hours just for Chessie’s. The staff is always so nice and it’s quite convenient when I’m waiting for my turn at the nail salon next door. Go! You won’t regret it!!

Food is okay but takes a really long time to get. Like 30 minutes for a grilled cheese. Better if you call ahead, but still iffy it’ll be ready when quoted. On the other hand, where else are you going to eat nearby? It’s at least 5 miles in either direction to another restaurant – A long way if you’re walking or biking.

Had an issue with my payment. The owner refused to come speak to me. Claimed they had nothing to do with my card being charged twice… she made the blonde at the front go back and fourth between the both of us.. She does not value her costumers or business.

When I called In to get a pizza with ham and pineapple on one side and sausage and pepperoni on the other side I got charged for four topping instead two when I don’t even have four topping on the whole entire pizza I assume like everyother pizza place like it would be two topping. So I referred back to there menu and it doesn’t say anywhere on there that if you slpit topping you will be charged for each topping. I called and spoke with the manager to follow up and she didn’t seem to care that she is ripping people off!

SOMETIMES a lil over-priced AND obnoxious about their credit policy, BUT, TODAAAAAAAAAAY… I took advice of another review and had a steak and cheese WITH a fried egg— AWESOME! Good size: regular. 7.50 more than worth it!

Food was ok, but some subs got a lot more meat than others. And some people in my group didn’t receive the right food. For example they ordered a chicken cheese steak and received the same steak cheese steak as the others in our group. Disappointed

Unimpressed. I’d heard so many wonderful things about this deli. It’s nothing to write home about. Store-bought rolls and packaged deli meat. They don’t have any choice in bread and no deli mustard. Nice enough lady behind the counter, but I doubt I’ll go out of my way to return.
