First time eating here and I thought it was great. I really liked the patio. Plenty of shade and it is secluded from the outside. Our server was excellent as well. My 2 year old son took my orange slice from my drink and she brought us more so I could have mine and he ate the rest. No complaints with the food. It was all good. The only thing I would suggest is smaller portions as we all had to take some home.

We went on Browns preseason game day, on a Friday and the weather which had been great all day was turning rapidly. Normally we would reconsider dinner plans under the circumstances but we gave it a shot. when we arrived they were closing the patio and transitioning inside of which we had great communication from the Friendly host and manager. Somehow we found a couple patio bar seats and set up camp there.

Tonight, Wednesday, August 16, 2023, was my first time dining at the Chesterland Tavern. I must say, I was very impressed. We ate on the back patio, which was very, very nice. I ordered the chicken paprikash, which was very good and a very generous portion. Everything was reasonably priced, especially considering the size of the portions. I am definitely making the Chesterland Tavern one of my go to places. The only thing negative that I could see was that smoking is permitted outside of the bar area and in close proximity to patio dining.

Nasty server dirty silverware when I asked for clean set or plastic server got an attitude asked for manager after she cursed at us and he did comp the meal but made nothing but excuses for the server I’ve ran restaurants for years and it was unprofessional to say the least food was sub-par and the server should have been sent home at the very least imo will not return especially when handed a box before we even ate our food like we were the problem!!!! The girl who seated us promptly was very nice and polite so thank you for that!

Always a good time getting together with my friends. Clean and patio is nice. Always good service! Drinks and food are great! I had the grouper wrap and fries Friday night. Fries are always delicious and the wrap was a first time for me. Excellent!!

Great atmosphere on patio and outside bar. Until the rude and disrespectful bartenders interact with guests. Good experience when GM and Bar manager are there holding the incompetent bar help in line. Food is okay. On a slow night, waited 20 minutes at the bar to place order while others arriving after were being served. Use to visit somewhat regularly. Help is disrespectful and plainly don’t want to be there. Maybe try again sometime when the malcontents move on.

The server was good but the water smelled very bad. I’ve lived with well water for years and never smelled anything like this. I asked for another glass with lemon and it was still disgusting. The food was just ok. Just don’t order water and you should be ok lol.
