So I have just recently tried out Chester’s for the 1st time in Kentucky & all I ordered was 1 plain Biscuit, which was so perfectly cooked, fresh, and buttery. I actually had to stop at the next Chester’s I passed to get my love a biscuit after biting mine & it was so amazing. Well, that was a failure because this location had overcooked their biscuits, so we didn’t even get any. Ok, so we’re now 1 for 1, so we figured we would try again in another state. We got chicken biscuits, which were great but would’ve been better if they were not prewrapped & sitting under the warmer. I’m sold on trying Chester’s as our go-to when a chicken biscuit craving hits, However, this location just ruined it! I ordered honey butter chicken biscuits, and upon driving down the road, I noticed that they put 2 chicken strips and 2 honey butter biscuits in a box. Now for $8 this is ridiculous that I don’t even get full sized pieces of chicken (they were small chicken strips), 1 Biscuit was tiny while the other was of a normal size, then I had to tear open the biscuits & make my own sandwich. Why were the biscuits not made as I requested? I didn’t order 2 chicken strips & 2 biscuits, I ordered 2 honey butter chicken biscuits. This is a 1st from any restaurant. This was not an $8 meal at all! Don’t let the photo fool you… it’s smaller than they appear! At least they tasted fine.

Tried it for the first time but I been in the truck stop many times. The fried chicken taste and texture was close how I make fried chicken. So I just have to 5 stars. The fried apple pie was not the best but not the worst I had. I think people should at least try it once. The potato wedges I think they are called (I call them oversized fries) were done just right.

The chicken taste like it is cooked in burned grease and for some reason I like the flavor of it. At this particular site, the workers aren’t friendly and they seem to always have an attitude when I go there. They definitely need to either change their attitudes or jobs.

Chicken strips weren’t bad. The biscuit was really good. The fries were a bit hard, so I think they may have been out a little while. We forgot our dipping sauce and it was getting late so they were out of a few things. The dining area was clean but I was unable to find napkins

I had better service here in order to get what I wanted to order, lovely Livers, they were Good and Chester the Chicken always living, I couldn’t get any Chicken Livers at the Charlotte NC location because they didn’t have em or didn’t want to do the work.

I usually don’t get food from here but when I do try it I’m usually disappointed… The side order is way too small in my opinion and the biscuit is always way to dry with no flavor at all and the chicken is dried out.. It sits there to long

Nice but aging. Needs to trim all there bushes. They block the walks. With all the rain the bushes either pushes you into the wet grass or swipe you and you get soaked. They also hamper the movement of baggage and people. The staff only clean the room of a stay of multiple days before and after the stay @ $80+ per day I expect a cleaned room. I chose this hotel because the advertised a hot breakfast, restaurant and bar – all of which are closed. Really disappointed. Lost wifi on my second day there and it never came back. Never offered a discount on my stay or a coupon on future stays. Don’t worry not likely to stay again.

The 2 bbq chicken sandwich for $4 is total trash the preparer the sandwich and live it for hours on end under the hot light. They are not fresh the bread and chicken are dry like a shoe sole. It a waist of your money.
