The lady had only 2 pieces of bone in chicken, a few old tenders and no biscuits for sale. The guy that is usually there has everything completely stocked when we stop in. If he isn’t working I will avoid attempting to order food

The food was good. The honey glazed biscuit is the best part. The service however was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced and willing to bet the cashiers and people pulling the food out of the counter were stoned out of their mind. They didn’t have the thousand yard stare as they were serving you they had the million yard stare you had to repeat everything multiple times and they still screwed up the order.

The tenders were mediocre at best. They didn’t have a great flavor at all. They were a little dry (maybe from sitting out too long under the heat lamp? Idk ). It’s been 15 years since I’ve eaten at a Chester’s, and it hasn’t improved at all. I probably won’t go back again. The 2 stars are for the lady who waited on me. She was sweet. That’s the only thing good about this place.

I went there at 5 because their hours online say the location is open until 6. I walked into a closed-up counter. The lady on the other side told me the employee closed up at 4:30. They didn’t post a notice on the door giving a reason or apologizing or anything. I asked if there was a reason they were closed early, the lady said “No, I think they were just done for the day.”

Savage Cause
This Chester’s don’t do gizzard, livers or many of the other items you expect to find at this franchise. I asked if they had any and they told me we only do tenders and the other chicken pieces fried corn, green beans and such. I was surprised because just two exits down the road they got another Chester’s and it’s smaller but carries all the franchises items always. I’ve noticed that the building this store is in is a road rangers and is also a truck stop it has in its doors three different franchises and also sells pizza under it own service but they are hit or miss all of them either you find sorry we don’t carry that or you here we don’t have anyone to make that. They should just close the joint and just sell gas cause their management ain’t worth jack. That’s were you will find the problem. It’s always at the head of the snake do yourself a favor go to Buckhorn to get your taste for the fried Chicken we all love.
