Everything here was 5 stars. We happen to stop by here a day they were having a car show. Plenty of seating inside and out. Nice, quiet farm atmosphere. Eat lunch watching the cows on the farm after a nice hike and at near by state park. All food looked great and had a great selection of ice cream. They also sell several desserts and homemade breads from locals.

Cute Southern County restaurant. And they know that you’re clearly in the middle of nowhere that they offer free wifi. Lunch was yummy. Not looking for lunch, try out their one of the several flavors of hand dipped Ice Cream. Loved their variety of local crafts for sale. Would definitely be a destination again when in the area or visiting Burgess Falls.

Great variety of freshly-prepared sandwiches and grilled items; hand-dipped ice cream, plus carton-packed ice cream in the freezer. Nice selection of frozen, grass-fed beef products from the farm offered in the freezer. Cheeses and fresh sourdough artisan breads available at very reasonable prices. Fun assortment of local crafts are merchandised in the front of the store. A huge enclosed eating area with fireplace has been added, with ample wood tables and seating in back. Lots to browse, and the staff is very friendly. Great place for meeting events within a beautiful country setting.

The place is beautiful. It was a rainy day outside so nobody was there, but we liked the food. It was nice to have a slow lunch while it was raining outside. I’d give the food a 7/10 but the scenery a 10/10.

We weren’t sure where to eat after hiking Burgess Falls, but turning out of the park, we saw this place. We thought we would check it out because they had outdoor seating and we had our dog with us. We got a burger, Patty melt, and grilled cheese with several sides to try out. Everything was really good. They also had options for some local meats, milks, cheese, ice cream, and some other local goods. It was a great place to grab a quick bite, cute little store on the inside, and don’t forget the gooey butter cake/chess pie. It was delicious.

The bbq and staff were amazing. We had a wonderful lunch on a Saturday, chose to eat outside on one of their many available picnic tables. Under a nice shade tree we enjoyed some great brisket and pulled pork! Everything was hot and super fresh, we will definitely be back to try the ice cream next time! Awesome location located right next to Burgess Falls State Park!

We stopped in by chance after hiking at Burgess Falls and what a hidden gem! My son has Autism and loved his entire experience here, from the comfort food menu items, to the nice staff, quiet music (he cannot take restaurants because of the loud music), and to the table games. Finally got a chance to eat here. I had the brisket sandwich and my wife had a cheeseburger. The brisket was excellent. It was tender with a nice smoky flavor.
