Decent food with a fair price (except mandatory 18% tip for even a small party). It’s a typical Cantonese restaurant and other than Peking duck (Cantonese style), pretty good food. The Peking duck is not very crispy as it’s a repurposed roast duck but it’s decently priced so don’t expect a real Peking duck experience. The frogs are fresh and very tender. The spareribs are tense and juicy so very delicious. Overall, other than the mandatory tip (I don’t mind tipping but mandatory tip is always a no-no for me personally).

Checked the deli window and the menu to go. Got the BBQ Pork and duck rice.. A definite fave. Wasn’t too busy, in and done. Me, for take out. Parking fair and parking in rear alley.

With an encyclopaedic menu that spans everything from live seafood to Chinese bbq, it’s good to know what to order at this brightly decorated, very reasonably priced Cantonese restaurant.

Takeout 4/27/2021. Wow, is this really Cheung Hing? Their Noriega ave location usually has a huge line. There was no line and no one eating indoors. Inside, there were four employees standing around. My takeout BBQ pork over rice $10 was prepared in minutes by the butcher at the window. The BBQ pork was very juicy and flavorful. I would have like it more if the butcher added some au jus on the rice. Maybe I’ll come back if I was in a hurry. One of the reasons I don’t go to the Cheung Hing on Noreiga is because of the line.

Yikes, their “steamed chicken” came out of the fridge. Took one bite, was awful, called the restaurant, was told steamer doesn’t work and then simply hung up on me when I asked for a refund for the chicken. Needless to say, will never be back there….e v e r.

I was with a party that was a little more lively. This is not that type of establishment. It’s quite, calm, respectful, and above all, delicious.

Although the food and service were ok, one of the staff members (an elderly man) had a very nasty cough and kept coughing without covering his mouth while preparing meals and handling meat over the counter. I witnessed this more than 10 times as I was waiting for my food and I was very disappointed by the lack of basic hygiene. I just hope I don’t get sick.

Roast duck was excellent. The rice combined with the duck made it even more delicious with the duck fat dripping on the rice.

Avoid buying duck and pork stomach from this place. Extremely thick layer of fat, super thin layer of meat. Pork stomach also has very thick layer of fat and extremely tough… Unless you enjoy eating fat and pork stomach so tough that it take 10 mins to chew a single piece. I strongly advise you to go somewhere else.
