My husband and I recently visited Lake Tahoe for our anniversary. After 13 hours of traveling, we didn’t want to go far for dinner. Chevy’s was next door to our hotel and super convenient. It also happened to be a delicious restaurant! The service was great, the margaritas were even better, and the food was delish! We actually ate here twice on our trip it was so good. The BBQ wings on the appetizer menu was my favorite thing I had while we were there. I also recommend the bartender Jeff, who makes a killer watermelon margarita.

Don’t know what all the negative reviews are about except that it’s possibly connected to the reviewer’s bed wetting issues. I wanted fajitas tonight and got them hot and tasty. A large Margarita with that and I was happy. What more could one want?

food was good and great service by our waitress. Hosts were not very friendly, asked for outside seating and was told it would be 15-20 minute wait because “everyone is requesting outside seating” we were the only ones waitin and it was just 2 of us. Service is terrible ! Omg. We waited Atleast 40 minutes to get in and 1 hour and a half to get our appetizers!! Took Atleast 20 mins for them to get out drinks to the table. Manager didn’t want to come out and talk to us. Thankfully , they gave us a the appetizers for free. We walked out before we get our food. Outrageously stupid

What?? No Queso?? Being from Houston where you can arguably get the best Mexican food in the US, I wasn’t expecting much and well, I didn’t even get that! I had the famous chicken fajitas and the chicken was obviously previously frozen and rubbery. How can you mess up fajitas? And no queso? Instead you can eat the salsa which isn’t bad or the $8 guac. If you’re looking for cheap mexican food that tastes cheap, you’ve found it! If you have higher hopes stay away. Oh and the margaritas are cheap.

Never even got seated! Waited about 10 min for someone to come out and seat us. A lady finally appeared and seated the couple that was waiting ahead of us. She never even acknowledged us. She took the other couple to there table, and never returned. Waited another 10 min and finally just left. Unbelievable!
