Just had a fabulous dinner at Chez Carole. This restaurant has only been open a year but she has been an Executive Chef in Savannah for many years. Excellent service, delicious food, and great conversation with the chef herself. She took special caution with my food allergy and suggested alternatives to the regular menu pairings. Also, try the Haitian lemonade – it’s wonderful!

I’ll be honest. If I had the money to hire a personal chef, I would have hired Chef Carole on the spot, but instead YOU get the chance to eat her food, and you should. In an area surrounded by the usual bleah chain restaurants, you have the opportunity to instead go to a place where the food is made by someone who clearly loves to make good food and makes good food with love.

We were looking for something new to try while in the area and stumbled across this hidden gem one evening. Chef Carole was attentive and extremely kind! She gave us so many options for the daily specials and the regular menu was full of delicious options too! It was hard to choose, but we went for the spinach dip appetizer, shrimp scampi, spicy smothered chicken, and the kid’s chicken and macaroni. We had zero complaints. Quite honestly, we were just in awe from the moment we met Chef Carole! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! We will definitely be back. Oh, and the lemonade is DELICIOUS!

This is definitely a hidden gem! The chef was very pleasant. The food was delicious! I had the creole crispy shrimp, and my partner had Jasmine rice veggie stir fry. Oh, and this was proceeded by the spinach and artichoke dip served with garlic toast. Again, everything was exceptional!

my wife and I were in Savannah for a wedding. We were in the little hotel and Google search food nearby and this place came up with a one minute walk. So we headed over. We walked in and a very nice couple was sitting there and said “have a seat she does everything here, she’s awesome. She’s back there cooking now she’ll be right out. Here’s a menu“ we felt right at home. We sat down next to this couple and chatted it up until Carole came out. On the recommendation of the couple sitting next to us we ordered the lemonade and we’re absolutely amazed by it quite unique… Then Carole brought out some garlic bread that literally melted in our mouth and we got to hear her story. I ordered the crispy whole fish. My wife ordered the crispy fish fillet and both were fabulous. We highly recommend it. It was really fun and Carole is an amazing gifted chef.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Tucked in the back of a small shopping center, you may have a hard time finding it, but you’ll be glad you did. My husband and I stopped for dinner after shopping in the area. Chef Carole greeted us and explained the menu options. My husband had the Smoky Barbeque Ribs and I had the Lobster Ravioli with Shrimp – both were excellent! We will definitely dine there again.
