08/03/16: 4.5 out of 5 – After doing Hood to Coast, this was a wonderful first foodie place to go to after a Saturday group run. The service was attentive and the food was fantastic.

A very cute and cozy place. Food (we had both salty and sweet crepes) was very delicious! If you are craving good French food this is the place to go. It’s a small place so I’m not sure if they have an area told hold a group of 10 for example. 2 and 4 person tables mostly. Service was slower than expected but they still get 5 stars. Also, coffee was excellent too.

Lunch was lovely. The mussels were delicious. They were an appetizer but 3 of us shared and it was enough for us. The broth was perfect for sopping up with bread. So good you want to get every bit. The seared tuna Salade nicoise was huge even though we ordered the small. The Tuna was perfectly cooked as we’re the vegetables . The French onion soup was just as it should be. Very good but it was between those mussels and my dessert crepes so it really was my be good and order something that counted as food before dessert . Crepes LaDiane with poached pears, lemon curd, candied walnuts and cream fraiche were just what I wanted. It wAs hard to choose because they all sounded good. The flavors and textures were well balanced and just sweet enough. I will definitely be back because there are so many things I want to try.

I love this place (now Frog and Snail)! Consistently delicious food, adorable interior, and very reasonable prices! I could spend an afternoon here sampling from the menu and listening to French music. A quaint sweet cafe that I am excited to come back to 🙂

I had a craving for escargot and Chez Machin was the only location I could find that served it the traditional French way. It was served luke warm, almost like it had been reheated. It tasted fine just not up to the taste I was hoping for. Service and the rest of the meal was good.

Omg. So yummy. The food was so good. Glad I was able to try it out with this groupon. We had the escargot (garlicky buttery goodness. Escargot so soft and tender), baked brie on a puff pastry (with roasted garlic and some apple slices and a raspberry glaze. Salty and sweet yumminess) and a nutella and banana crepe (the crepe was crispy in some spots so it made for a tasty textural contrast). I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back even without the groupon. Parking is scarce and on the street though and the place itself was tiny but very nice.

I’ve eaten several different crepes along the west coast, and let me tell you these are my absolute favorite. Staff is very nice, the decor is so comfy, what’s not to like?
