Last week was my first time here and it was fantastic. The chicken was delicious and the couscous was among the best I’ve had. The cooked onions and couscous go very well together. The portions were really nice too and I like how they cut up the chicken to make it easier to handle. This will be my new go-to when I’m in the area.

Food was colder than room temperature which seems to me like they just pulled a cooked meal out of the refrigerator and served it to me. I feel like I definitely didn’t get my moneys worth. 1st time and last time customer. Whoever serves food that cold shouldn’t be in business. The rice rolls and meat pockets were warm. My chicken and lamb and rice was guaranteed pulled from a refrigerator. That’s disrespectful…….

It was nothing short of spectacular. I started with the yassa chicken, a dish bursting with flavor from the perfectly marinated chicken and tangy onion sauce. The thieboudienne, Senegal’s national dish, was a true masterpiece. The tender fish and flavorful jollof rice were a match made in heaven.

Updates April 2022 it’s still the best african restaurant in town. I always stop by when traveling through Columbus and even met another customer who is a truck driver who shared stopping by each time he travels through as well. The decor has been improved, the seating area is more inviting and could even hold a reception.
