Chez Rosa exceeded our expectations. From the moment Yazmin opened the door with her big beautiful smile and sat us at our table we felt so welcomed at her special Restaurant. The waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable and cared if we had allergies. It was our anniversary so they offered complimentary sparkling wine. Our dinner was Superb. Pollock Wellington was outstanding with a caper sauce that had little bits of citrus fruit. Such a surprise to bite into it. I recommend Chez Rosa to everyone, you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent meal and one of the loveliest atmospheres in all of KPT. The roast chicken was perfectly cooked and my husband enjoyed their take on gnocchi. We will be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to others looking for an elevated experience in the Port. We think it has the best executed dishes in the entire Dock square area that will satisfy the most discerning of pallets.

Enjoyed the French onion soup even though it was light on the onion but an excellent cheese. The sausage was more like a pate with excellent flavor served with good toast, the salad was enough to share. The steak frites was tasty and served with crispy frites though the steak was a trifle overcooked to my liking. The surprise was the chicken which was roasted perfectly and had a wonderful flavor, still juicy but cooked well done. The gnocchi was served with fresh corn and corn juice. Service was very good.

Wonderful! The perfect place to go with your girl! The perfect steak-frites and salad to start! (My wife remarked that it was the best steak-frites she’s ever had, and that includes Paris and NYC!) Our daughter took us to Chez Rosa while we were vacationing in Kennebunkport. Had to wait about 20 minutes for our table even though we had made reservations because previous diners occupying the table for our party of 5 were in no rush to leave! The staff was apologetic & we were ok waiting even though we all were a bit hungry! The restaurant is lovely for a special evening. We ordered oysters, fish, steak, chicken & a vegetarian entree & everything was delicious. We loved the cozy ambiance of the dining room & will definitely come back whenever we’re in the area.

We LOVED this place in downtown Kennebunkport. Came here for the weekend and we’re not disappointed at all. The prices were good, and food was delicious! The cod Wellington was definitely worth ordering, as was the lamb rack. I did not have much to say about the cheese fondue but my wife loved it – fondues just not my thing. Drinks were terrific as well – alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Our waiter, Sean, also checked on us every chance he got. For a place extremely busy, we felt like the only customers. Very excited to come back here next time!

Chez Rosa was truly inspiring, absolutely without a doubt the best restaurant in the area. The place was comfortable and intimate, the food was impeccable, the chef really cares about his craft and it shows. Please if you are vacationing or live around the area you must come here I promise you will still be talking about the food hours after your first bite!
