Really good food and cocktails. Customer service was very friendly and helpful while we waited at the bar, enjoying our cocktails, and waiting for our takeout order. The restaurant itself is very large and charming with plenty of seating and is very clean. We ordered the combination fried rice, chicken fried rice, chicken with noodles, and vegetable egg rolls. Everything was made correctly, and I loved the level of heat I asked for on the dishes, and everything was still nice and hot when I got home. Would recommend.

Chi Tung was a favorite of mine. Mostly eat hibachi. Last visit the food was cooked with a lot of salt and grease. I always order seafood, chef didn’t use lemon on any of the seafood just salt and soy sauce. The food had a bland salty taste. Now for the bill. $134 for 2 people without any drinks and gratuity of $19. Food is now way overpriced. It will be a long time if ever for hibachi. Dining room food is ok and reasonable . Just stay away from hibachi. Was celebrating a birthday nothing special here.

After a long outing, my brother suggested we go to one of his favorite places for a relaxing dinner. We had such a wonderful experience at Chi Tung, the food was ammmmazing! The staff is friendly ,very accommodating and quick to serve. Their drink menu is top notched , there was a huge variety and also kiddie cocktails. It was such a great experience for the entire family. The hibachi experience did not disappoint in entertainment or abundance of food for our family. If you stop by say hello to my brother’s favorite server Wai, he is definitely passionnate about service and ensures your experience is a memorable one! The restaurant seems very popular especially during Hibachi night so expect some wait time…but the experience is worth the wait. Enjoy!

One of the best restaurants to get Japanese hibachi in Chicago!! Period!! This place gets a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for always being consistent in quality, quantity and service. It’s usually a wait but there’s a bar area conveniently located in the front to soothe your oral fixation. (Pro tip…. Always sit at the ends of the table. The chef tends to be a bit more heavy handed there ) I usually get hot sake to start and I recommend getting the “dinner for two” if your on a date. It comes with two soups and two salads to start and the dinner includes steak, chicken and shrimp along with chicken fried rice, vegetables and noodles for about 79.99. It should be some type of award if you finish all of your food in one sitting because I always have leftovers. They also serve ice cream at the end for the lactose tolerant folks (I’m not one of them).
