I loved this place! I was in heaven. I lived in Chicago for a few years when I was younger and grew up a Chicago sports fan. This joint makes you feel like you’re in Chicago! I forgot I was in McKinney. I was craving a dog and Italian beef after driving past Portillos, but did not want to wait an hour. This place should also have a wait. Food is top-notch Chicago. And I got to admire all the signed memorabilia while I enjoyed my Chitown grub. Jerseys, banners, pictures, music. I love this place.

My wife and I first time here for lunch today. Absolutely Delicious! The service was excellent. I met the Owner, who was very friendly and charismatic. My family enjoyed the meal that I brought home Chicago Avenue Hotdogs. The chili-dog, Chicago dog and the polish sausage were very tasty. Their jumbo dogs are quite large. My son loved their strawberry shortcake. Even though we didn’t eat there, I must point out that the restaurant was clean and the decor was very fun.

Actual authentic Chicago-style food, and unlike the competitor in The Colony, it actually has the correct atmosphere. The Restaurant is super clean, the service is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the food quality is A+. The pricings are on the higher side, but given that everything has to be imported from Illinois it’s to be expected and they’re very competitive with the other handful of comparable competitors in the area. I will add that they have some menu options that none of the other competitors have that us Illinoisans miss. Most definitely give this place your business. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m not a Hotdog guy and I didn’t have a Hotdog lol, but my Girlfriend knows a good wiener when she sees one and says this is the second best one she’s ever tasted . Now that Big Beef and Italian Sausage sandwich with the gravy!!!!!! That’s the best sandwich I think I’ve had in a long time! The Italian sausage is flavored to perfection and the beef is soft and juicy. I wish I could give them 10 s. The staff was very nice and genuine. Keep up the great work!
