Subs are always great. But man…that old lady with glasses is a horrible person. Every damn time we come…she has an attitude. From what she told me was she has to work at 10am by herself while the owner thinks no one comes because it’s breakfast. She kept giving us attitude to hurry us up…but there was no one else behind us. I know workers are hard to find…but man…she needs to get replaced asap

We waited while one young woman waited on two people at a time. Another older woman kept walking out and looking then she would go back to the kitchen, she did this three times. She came out to help after someone was waiting behind us and rushed that person’s food ahead of our order. The younger woman was very nice and did a good job. The older lady needs to learn customer service.

This is a SUBWAY, with a few different sauces and toppings. It’s fine. I don’t have anything bad to say. But if you are like me someone who likes trying different locally owned sub places just know it is a Subway. Which is fine.

The disrespectful attitude we just received from the kid at Chicago subs made us so uncomfortable we almost walked out. We walked in and she was already in a bad mood bc she got in trouble for mopping before sweeping the floor. She said she swept but it certainly did not look like it. And then was told to wait on the customers, she did not wash her hands after touching the mop head that touched the dirty floor, she did not greet us and ask us what she could make she just stood there with the dirtiest look she could give the whole time we were just simply trying to get lunch. She barely put anything on my husband’s sandwich and we had to go to a different restaurant to get something else because he only had 4 pieces of meat on his sandwich. We are all for supporting local owners but this is not the first time we’ve run into a rude kid with a bad attitude. So not only did we have to spend 15.00, we spent 15.00 on food that could have been contaminated, and for a sandwich that’s basically a loaf of bread.

I’ve eaten here many times since moving to the area about a year ago and have not been disappointed even once. The meat and vegetables are fresh and of good quality. The place beats Subway hands-down. Not even a comparison there.

This place is very close to my heart. It is my dad’s favorite sandwich shop and we take an hour trip to this specific store because he grew up around the corner on a farm nearby. We live in suburbs about an hour away and will drive all the way out for the sandwiches there meaning they have great sandwiches. They always put plenty of meat and veggies, way more than other sub shops. The prices are amazing and they always have deals going on. Everything looks clean in the inside and every single time we go the customer service is excellent. We will be back soon and then again after that and then again after that LOL

Excellent subs. I visit every Tuesday when the subs are buy one and get one for 99 cents with the purchase of a drink. They also have swiss cheese. Restrooms are available. They offer chips, cookies, fountain and bottled drinks. Chicago Fresh Subs is part of the A&W building, next to Maria’s Pizzeria, and A&W with burgers, fries, ice cream, and of course fresh brewed A&W root beer. On Tuesdays at Chicago Fresh Subs there can be at line at times, but I’ve never seen it over 10 people being served and waiting. The line moves pretty fast unless people are ordering 4 or more subs at one time. I recommend it. Try it, you’ll keep going back.
