I recently enjoyed a meal at Chicago Mike’s Beef and Dogs, and I found their beef sandwiches and hot dogs to be quite satisfying. The flavors reminded me of authentic Chicago cuisine, and the staff was friendly. What stood out to me was that this place offers a unique twist that I haven’t experienced at Portillo’ (pizza). It’s definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re looking for a taste of that classic Chicago-style food with a fresh perspective.

Just to be clear this is by far the best tavern style thin crust pizza west of the Mississippi. Any poor reviews should be ignored. Best Italian beef in Denver beware how delicious the spicy peppers are. The sweet peppers my preference with extra celery salt on the table if you need more seasonings. The Gyros are top notch too don’t forget to try em. Try everything though this place well run great cooks reasonably priced and friendly people. Chicago Mike’s you win!

You feel like you’re in Chicago, really, and the food is authentic! I’ve eaten the entire menu, i think, or most of it, and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s a restaurant that never betrays the decision to go there; always comfortable and the food is consistently great.

From Pizza Puffs to Italian Beef if you want to reminisce about sweet home Chicago stop by and grab a bite here. There is even a piece of Wrigley Field inside to check out. The staff are very nice, facilities are always clean, a patio to enjoy with a few tables, and there is plenty of parking nearby. Thank for the great experiences and flashbacks.

As a native Chicagoan, I can tell you this place is the real deal. I ordered beefs, a dog, fries, mushrooms and a pizza puff. It was all so, so good with generous portions. The staff was incredibly friendly and appreciative of the business. I will be going back whenever I need that taste of home. Da Bears!
