Today seems like a turning of the tides type of day for Petal’s Chick Fil A. Looking through the drive through window you’ll see practically a whole new staff and be greeted with a different taste to the food. This place is finally starting to shape up to be a true chick fil a. I can at least speak for the lunch hour food when saying that I am truly impressed by the changes made today.

I’ve been here 3-4 times since they first opened, each time hoping for a better experience and being let down. There are 2 lanes in the drive through, yet they insist on only having 1 open even on a busy Friday night. Do not come here expecting to be in and out in less than 20 min. Something has been missing from my order every time I have visited this location. This is the most disappointing Chik Fil A I’ve ever been to. I have been burned here enough that I will not be back in the foreseeable future.

I asked for an extra container or bowl to divide my food into, I asked while ordering in case there was a charge. The boy told me he can’t do that. When I got to the door/window I asked the girl again figuring the boy didn’t understand what I wanted. She told me again we can’t do that. I said well can I have a cup of water thinking I would just dump the water out and use the cup to divide the food. She gave me a large cup of water filled with ice and didn’t charge me. What kind of sense does it make that you will give me a large cup of ice water for free, but can’t give me a small empty container.

After a bad experience with Arby’s down the street (See my previous review!) I needed dinner for my girlfriend, my dogs, and myself after a long day at work, and I didn’t want to drive into Hattiesburg on my way home (we live in the country), so I was looking for something near where I currently was, and right down the street was the good ol’ Jesus Chicken!

Most poorly managed location I’ve ever visited. This is the only Chik-Fil-A that gets orders wrong, runs out of items, routinely forgets sauces, has long waits no matter what time of day, has a ridiculous drive thru situation, and the employees aren’t particularly friendly.

I’ve been to this location several times hoping the food will be better than the last time. It never is. The food is always burnt, undercooked, or tastes old. They give you the wrong drinks, forget silverware, and wait times are unbelievable, especially considering there’s usually no one else in line.
