The place was empty on a Saturday night. It appeared very clean and staff was friendly. The food was ready in a timely manner but personally did not meet our expectations. We got chicken tenders, fried chicken, fries and onion rings.

I’ve been doing here for quite some time. Their fried chicken isn’t bad. I personally don’t like their crispy chicken sandwich, but do like other items from the menu like their fried chicken combo. Recommend if you’re looking to get quick bite of comfort food.

Tried this place after seeing it featured in an article as being the best fried chicken in the DC area. Not sure if that’s true but it is very good. Funny thing is we have noticed this place for years as we frequently eat at another restaurant in the same parking lot. This place sits back off the road so you would never notice it. We would always ask how is this place still open without being noticed. Well after tasting the chicken now we know. Can’t wait to go back and try other things on the menu. Would definitely recommend.

So…today I ordered 12 chicken strips with fries from Chicken Basket. The total was $26.00. This same order 2 months ago was $15.95. The chicken tenders are not the same. They have a lot of extra breading which makes it seem as though you have a mouthful of flour. As they have overpriced this item, they NEVER have to worry about me coming back again. Not only do I have to deal with serious rising of costs, but the food was disgusting as well. Be well chicken basket.

We picked up a 20 piece meal a few days back and were pleased with the quality of the food. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and tasted great. Anytime we’re in the area, Chicken Basket would be on my list for takeaway food!

I’ve been frequenting this location for about ten years now, and it’s still a reliable place to get halal fried chicken at a decent price point. Fair warning that it’s a bit difficult to access the store because of the roads in the area, but I can completely guarantee that it’s worth it for the big pieces of juicy chicken you’ll be receiving! I’d also recommend getting a box crinkle cut french fries with your chicken— it makes the dish feel all the more complete!

Ordered two chicken dinners on 7/20/18. Our dinners were delicious, even the coleslaw that came with the meals was good. The total price for the dinners was reasonable too. Three things I do not like is their location and they do not have enough parking spaces. You have to drive behind another restaurant to get to this Chicken Basket location. They also share parking with another restaurant. You can not see their establishment from the main road. I like going to this location because the folks who take your orders over the phone are nice and repeat your orders back to you. They also alert you on the time of when your order would be ready.
