Very busy, but didn’t have to stand in line long. Young man who took order was very nice & helpful. Wished he had explained that we would be charged $1.25 for rolls with our meals. Would have refused. Food was so delicious & piping hot. Coleslaw was creamy & fries were cooked to perfection! Lemonade was good. I had the chicken wing dinner. Guy who brought our food out stated he would check on us later concerning drink refills. We went to counter for refills cause they were so busy. Daughter said lady in baseball cap had an attitude with a customer about her order. Give them a try cause the food is delicious!!!

This restaurant in Chester SC is truly exceptional ! The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. It’s definitely worth the cost and your hunger. The portion sizes are great, and the food tastes really fresh. The tables and restrooms are kept very clean. The staff, Skyler and Chris, were really helpful when my wife and I were looking at the menu and specials. The food might take a little longer to arrive because it’s so fresh, but it’s worth the wait. If you’re traveling south of Charlotte, it’s definitely worth a 20 to 30-minute drive to the Chicken Coop in Chester SC for a delicious meal.

This is a new incredible place to eat here in Chester. I was here last week and ate the Canadian flounder. There was enough for two meals! I took home quite a bit. I just came back today for some more flounder, french fries, slaw and hush puppies! I have a recommend that you eat here! Very friendly staff, and a very nice owner who came by and said hello.

I LOVE this place! The owner is personable & welcoming as are his staff. He is real considerate of his guest there at the Chicken Coop! Your plates come FILLED, HOT, and DELICIOUS. If you loved Alex at the chicken king you better stop what your doing and make time to check out his new spot a few doors down at the Chicken Coop! Thank you so much! Absolutely love the Chicken Coop! The owners and staff are friendly and know everyone by name. Alex the owner comes out when can and speaks to customers and takes suggestions on new items. The food is great and I always have leftovers to take home.

The food is wonderful. We love it! The two ladies upfront have the worst attitudes and customer service ever. They are very short with customers and not friendly at all. Almost makes you want to go across the street to Fish & Chicks! Please find friendlier staff that is welcoming and inviting to your customers!
