I came by around 9:30 and the open sign is on and the Google Maps says they are open but no one answered at the drive thru and the doors were locked. Two women were just sitting around of their phones. I tried to call the store and no one answered then it said the voicemail box was full. Not sure what’s going on but the service has seriously dropped here. Too bad.

Ordered two piece Fish Fillets 2ea chicken tenders coleslaw and corn on the cob. The fish was tasteless. Its the corn batter or what ever you use absolutely no flavor and 1/4 inch thick. The Chicken Strips same same thing, same batter tasteless and my thumb was thicker than the strips and about 5/6 inches long. My dog wouldn’t even eat one. Got cold fries. I can’t figure out how you folks stay in business. Serving tasteless food. The Hush Pups were good except too small like a marble. Had to bite into a green jalapeño and cilantro to add flavor to my mouth. Next time I crave some good fast food chicken I’ll go across the street to KFC or Chester’s where they have the biggest strips and great flavor. Your coleslaw was good. I hope your your corn on the cob is better. I’ll save it for tomorrow.

I haven’t been to this location in a while. I came in today around 3pm just for a few things and I went through the drive-through. The young lady at the drive-through was very rude. Didn’t say hi to me and when I cashed out she didn’t say goodbye, she wasn’t nice at all. I am never returning to this location. And I’ve lived in this area for 30 years so I’m really disappointed!!!

I usually go to the location in Mansfield (on 287) or on Sublet. I sent my husband to this location and I figured the Gizzards would be fresh. Therefore, I didn’t advise him to ask for a fresh batch. My Gizzards were old, the roll was hard and it looks like a Gnat was inside the cup . I usually look inside my cup before drinking, but didn’t. It was just a disappointment all around. FYI, Gizzards cannot be left out or reheated multiple times; they will lose its texture and become hard and the color of the meat will turn dark.

I have tried a lot of chicken express. But this one is the best. Okra is fried to perfection. Chicken tenders are perfect. Not every chicken express gets the okra fries and chicken tenders fries in the right consistency. Absolutely love it. Fish jalapeño poppers are another big treat. Awesome taste. Staff is super attentive to details. Will be back this weekend.

Very unprofessional staff waiting in drive-thru over 20 minutes 4th car in line and I’m still currently waiting I would never visit this location again they claim they are busy on the inside and out but it’s only two cars in the parking lot and the drive-thru is backed up ridiculous they are super slow is what they are doing they need to hire either more staff or more knowledgeable workers

This chicken express has always had great customer service! The food was delicious. The tables needed to be wiped down. I love that their landscaping looks nice. It makes the whole area look attractive. After a fiasco at Pizza Hut, Chicken Express was amazing! Oh and their spicy tenders really are spicy! I had two and that was too much for me! I can usually handle spicy food.
