I was very happy to see that the restaurant finally opened. If we’re on that side of town, usually the service and the food is fresh…we went in, and we were served nicely, only when ordered 12 pieces of chicken, (6 legs and thighs,) we had to get an extra thigh,-they ran out of legs, or possibly didn’t have enough, but it was fine…the chicken was good. Also, we ordered 2 family okra–now they could have done better on the okra, because 1 box was more overcooked than the second box–(we ate the first one out of the way)–but usually everything is great since surviving COVID, and they’re having us go through the drive-thru for quite a long time, but I was relieved that the restaurant finally opened up to the public–it looked really nice and clean in there!

At noon on Thursday February 16th I was the first customer inside. Initial service was ok. Food was terrible. My chicken tenders came out cold. The okra was fried in obviously old grease and the catfish was unedible. The manager offered a substitute (chose fried chicken) and it wasn’t much better. Definitely pass this place.

Total disappointment. Ordered a three piece meal only to be told they had no legs or thighs to go with the two wings I wanted. They were going to charge me almost$11 for three wings. I changed my order to fish and got fish that had to have been sitting under the heat lamp. Didn’t have to wait for my fish like I usually do and fish was dry. I used the tartar sauce to eat what I could. Won’t be going back for a long time!

We came very very close to close tonight and ordered a 30 pc tenders and sides, and the crew was so kind and made sure we had everything else needed for our party even though they were just about to close. They even offered us plates and everything! Plus the food was super fresh and hot, so all in all a wonderful experience.

I saw a lot of reviews complaining about slow drive through delivery. It appears management took the feedback to heart because lately I can just about order and the food is ready by the time I pull up to the window 30 seconds later. Lightning fast drive through and piping hot chicken. The sides have also been high quality and very large portions.

Terrible customer service. Completely botched our order and I called them to have them make it right. They were not interested in doing so. Very expensive fast food and you better check to make sure they got it right because you will get zero accountability from them if you leave and they didn’t.
