Chicken Express, After almost a decade of experience under another franchise, the Stuart’s launched the Chicken Express name in March 1988 in Benbrook, TX and in October 1988 in Mineral Wells, TX–the home base for Chicken Express. Residing in Mineral Wells the Stuart’s expanded the Chicken Express name and product originally by being one of the very first fast food chicken delivery businesses, making their slogan “our chicken can’t fly, so we deliver.” The delivery business was very successful for spreading the word and product, so in 1990 until 1994 all new franchises utilized the dine-in, drive-thru, or “delivery” concept.

I am staff for a local day hab that cares for special needs adults. Today we brought over 30 of our clients to this restaurant. I understand that they had very little forewarning of our arrival. We were warmly greeted and accommodated in every way. The CE Crew were kind and patient with taking, organizing and delivering our orders to their very full restaurant. I am incredibly humbled and appreciative of the excellent customer service they afforded us. The food was hot and delicious and our clients had a wonderful time. Last time I was here they burned my fish so bad that I could barely east it, so this tim I ordered chicken and a single piece of fish hoping that was a fluke last time. The fish was fried to perfection, and the chicken was excellent. I do wonder if this time or last time was the fluke. I guess time will tell.
